Oh Mah Gah! Daddyward and other new BD2 pics

Each new picture that comes out gets me so excited! I can't wait!!

This looks a bit frolick-y, but I like it.

The Last 100 Days (a week and a half late)

[Please excuse the lateness of this post... obviously I wrote it a while ago but am just now remembering to publish it!]

As of today, there are 100 91 days left until Breaking Dawn Part 2 is released.  O.O

These are the last hundred ninety-one days that we will spend waiting for a Twilight movie.  Ever.  Ever!

Just the thought of this makes me all emo - just me, or are you ready to bust out the sweatpants, chocolate ice cream, and wine along with me?  Are you ready for this era to end, no matter how much you've enjoyed it, or are you clinging with all ten sparkly marble fingers to what we have left?  I am obviously the latter.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go put on my Cullen tshirt, my Forks bracelets, the Twilight score, and the Eclipse DVD... and cry into my mushroom ravioli.

Rob looking seriously schmexy in NYC at US Cosmopolis premiere!

Clicky for HQ

Rob was in NYC last night for the US premiere of Cosmopolis and looking extra hot on the red carpet in his slick suit and hair!

He kinda reminds me of Jef from this past season of The Bachelorette - who I'm totally in love with - way to combine two hot, sweet guys :)

Jon Stewart (no relation) also interview Rob while he was in town and is sure to be quality viewing - head over to the Daily Show site if you're in the US, or stay tuned for YouTube videos as they're available ;)

According to fans at the taping "Jon presented Robert with a bowl of ice-cream and discussed his own previous romantic lows" - awww.

The Twilight Saga: Alternate Ending?

This is one of those moments where my stomach kinda lurches, because... are you ready for this?  [Stephenie Meyer and] Melissa Rosenberg "dreamed up" a new ending for Breaking Dawn Part 2, and IT STUCK.

They've apparently changed the ending to the movie.  I'll give you a moment to digest that.

Ready for more fuel for your "grab your torch and pitchforks" fire?  EntertainmentWise says:

Although not wanting to give away any more, the stars were initially taken aback by the fact that the movie will finish differently to the novels.

According to Hollywood Life, the film will include a sequence "dreamed up by [author] Stephenie Meyer and longtime screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg one night over dinner".

Twilight star Robert Pattinson told Entertainment Weekly: “When I first read the script, I got to that part and was like, ‘What?  And then I had to go back a page. It does it a serious justice.”

Kristen Stewart agreed: “It’s clearly made by someone who really likes [the saga], who really cares,”
She said: “That’s why [director] Bill Condon is perfect. Thank God for him.”

Actor Amadou Ly, who plays Henri - yep, a non-canon vampire they added for Breaking Dawn: Part 2 (because, obviously, there weren't already enough vampires to keep track of - seriously?!), just tweeted: "It will still be the same ending but just few exciting surprises..."

If you ask me, so far the changes they've made have not been for the better.  I happen to think that the books are pretty perfect as-is, but maybe I just have Twi-blinders permanently attached to my face.  Thoughts?  Conjectures as to the new ending?

This just in: Kristen Stewart drops out of new movie Cali... woah!

According to GossipCop:
Kristen Stewart is dropping out of the upcoming movieCali, a source exclusively tells Gossip Cop.
We’ve reached out for a comment from the actress’ camp, but have not heard back.
Gossip Cop is told that Amber Heard has been asked to join the cast, although it’s not confirmed whether she’d be taking the part.
Heard’s rep would not comment.
The film, with Alex Pettyfer set to play the male lead, will be directed by Nick Cassavetes and revolves around lovers who sell a fake snuff film and run away, only to return to Los Angeles years later to rescue the woman’s younger sister from bad guys.
We’re checking to confirm whether Stewart, reportedly a producer on the film, is still involved in that capacity.
Gossip Cop also reached out to Voltage Productions, the company behind Cali.
Voltage declined to confirm Stewart’s status, but oddly noted that an announcement would be made soon.
Kristen was set to play the edgy, female lead, Mya in the action movie produced by Voltage.

According to Variety:
Set in Los Angeles, the movie follows Mya and Chris (Pettyfer), who are two lovers who sell a fake snuff film before skipping town with the bundle of cash. Having to return years later for family reasons, the pair must deal with a range of people who want them dead.
Bummer, this sounded like a really cool opportunity for Kristen - she must be a seriously sad panda...

Rob has donated this sketch to the Home Plate Project* charity auction :) all together now... awww!

According to ROBsessed:

  • Rob drew the artwork by pencil on a real, wooden, home plate about six weeks ago.
  • Rob's assistant, Jeff, knows one of the team members and asked Rob to participate.
  • The home plate by Rob also comes with an autographed photo that Rob gave to help with legitimacy.
  • The home plate is currently being displayed to view at the Arizona Diamondbacks HQ alongside the Diamondbacks' CEO, Derrick Hall's home plate contribution.

*The Home Plate Project is a fundraiser for local non-profits. The idea of the program is to get members of the Arizona community to decorate home plates that will be provided to them. The plates will then be put on-line here for auction. Participants are encouraged to decorate their plate any way they like that shows their personality, their company’s personality, mission, what they do or just any fun idea they choose. They may paint the plate, attach crafts, apply a photo or again; any way they want to creatively use the space. There is one rule; be creative!!!

Not sure why vampire Bella is wearing a jacket but floving the hair.

Collector alert - EW's fall movie preview magazine will be on US stands this Friday, August 10th!

Sad panda alert - director, Bill Condon even chimes in on the recent Robsten cheating scandal:
“The fact is, these are actors playing parts, and maybe it’s not such a bad thing that people be reminded of that... Both of these actors gave heart and soul to the Twilight movies, not only during shooting, but also by navigating so graciously the whole life-in-a-fishbowl aspect of the phenomenon. Above all they have always shown great respect for the fans who made these movies such a success. Now it’s time that some of that respect be returned to them.”

Breaking Dawn: Part 2 Score finished

The score for Breaking Dawn: Part 2 is complete!  Bill Condon and Carter Burwell (of Twilight and Breaking Dawn: Part 1 fame) have finished scoring the film at THE Abbey Road Studios in London.

Image from here.
There are so many incredibly emotional scenes in this movie (spoiler alert?): Bella meeting Renesmee, Esme revealing the cottage, Alice leaving, Bella arranging for Jacob to care for Renesmee, the "fight" scene, the last scene EVER... and I think Carter will do a great job (although, I'm partial to Alexandre Desplat of New Moon - thoughts?).  Can't wait to hear it!

LOTS of New Breaking Dawn: Part 2 Pictures!

New Breaking Dawn: Part 2 pictures are here!  Let's lighten the mood a bit and have some fun with captions, shall we?

[Bella:] Ohai Edward, I can see your hotness
in stunning 1080p now that I have vampire-vision.
[Edward:] We're the same temperature now.  EVERYWHERE.
[Bella's undead heart beats faster]
[Bella:] .O *remembers*
Where's my halfling baby?
[Rosalie:] Right here.  See, I didn't eat her.
[collectively:] Hey, so what'd you name her?
[Bella:] Renesmee.
[Alice:] WTF?
[Senna and Zafrina:] WTF?
[Garrett:] WTF?
[Aro:] WTF?
[Irina:] That name makes me want to cry.
[Jacob:] That name isn't going to sound good
in my too-loud mental fantasies.
[Michael Jackson:] [Aro:] Ohhhhh snap!
[Edward:] Jacob.  Dude, what's wrong with you, she's just a baby.
[Bella:] Srsly.
[Jacob:] *shrug* Werewolf imprinting, remember?
I'm hot.  Blooded.  Ruhnezmay is gonna love it.
[Bella:] *growls*
[Edward:] Jacob.  Run.
[Bella:] Shhh, don't worry,
you're much prettier than your name.
[Bella:] Because you look shockingly like
the biological child Rob and I will never have.
[Irina:] Now I really want to cry.
Sorry.  All roads lead to the Twipocalypse in my head right now.  Enjoy the photos *sniffle*
