Hallmark's Breaking Dawn Part 1 Christmas ornament

Hallmark released a preview of their Breaking Dawn Part 1 Christmas ornament!

Does anyone else own the Eclipse ornament?  Or the New Moon ornament?  (Did they do a Twilight one?)  I have the New Moon and Eclipse ones, and you can bet your sparkly behind that I will be hanging Bridella and Groomward on my tree this year!  Mr. XKR will be thrilled.

I think Bella's dress looks GREAT, as does Edward's tux... but does the hook come out of his head?!  That makes me wonder whether someone who absolutely abhors all things Twilight did that just out of spite.

This is happening again!!
Except, hopefully without the weird expressions and weirder hair.

WATCH the new Breaking Dawn Part 2 Teaser Trailer now!!!

UPDATE: Apparently we get a FULL trailer tomorrow! Squeee!

Either Summit is confused about Edward's birthday (as usual, they aren't taking advantage of the LEGIONS of fans who could help them correct this... and the Volvo color... and the post-birth dress color... just saying), or they've decided to be nice and release the BD2 teaser trailer a day early. Decide for yourself which is more likely :)

Either way, here's the teaser trailer:

What are your thoughts?  Bella's hair bothers me.  Edward looks yummy.  Stupid details like the flower color are wrong (GRRR).  Same old, same old.

Kristen in Sydney for Australian SWATH premiere

Now we all know Kristen's a gorgeous girl but I am not confident in this style choice.

I like the idea of the skirt and top and those shoes are lovely too but I can't help but feel the outfit is wearing her, ya know?

The less said about the hair the better :/ natural suits you better, Stew.

Maybe it was the jet-lag making decisions, but I'm hoping it's not this new wardrobe girl I've noticed hanging around lately... "yes (wo)men" should not be trusted.

Breaking Dawn Part 2 Trailer on Wednesday, squee!

Summit has announced that in honor of Edward Cullen's 111th birthday, they will release the BD2 trailer on Wednesday, June 20th. Happy Edward's Birthday to us!

Until then, I'll be watching this on loop:

Kristen Stewart Is Hot

(...but we knew that already.) KStew landed at #15 on Maxim's Hot 100 list for 2012.

No surprise there!  Other noteworthy mentions: Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss in The Hunger Games) at #6 and Ashley Greene (Alice in The Twilight Saga) at #43.

Bada$$ Breaking Dawn Part 2 pics - vampire Bella defends her family in new Entertainment Weekly shoot and stills!

F-loving her get-up - just the right amount of leathery superhero meets Forks - but seriously, is that THE peacoat???

Also, really stoked about the grey jersey dress - a simple thing but that image always stuck with me from when she went to see J.Jenks

Spoiler-Free SWATH Review

Hey TwiCrackers!  I finally made it to see SWATH yesterday.

My observations, free of spoilers:

- KStew: thumbs up.  Amazing.  She does the damsel in distress well, doesn't she?  She also does the damsel turned warrior princess well, and I'll be interested to see how that plays out in BD2, when she stops being the protected one and starts protecting everyone else.

- Chris Hemsworth: thumbs up.  He did a great job as the Huntsman - just the right degree of snark mixed in with broody and brave.

- Charlize Theron: thumbs up.  She scares me.

- The costumes: thumbs up.  I could easily see their designer origins.  The evil queen, in particular, had some stunning pieces - she wears a sparkly floor-length robe in one scene that I could easily see myself wearing while lounging poolside, being fed grapes :)

- Scenery and cinematography: thumbs up.  Much of the movie takes place outside, and nature is always a beautiful backdrop.  Somebody who knew how to film it was behind the camera on this one.

- For guys: thumbs up.  Plenty of sword fighting and cool special effects, plus what guy doesn't appreciate Charlize Theron?

- Other thoughts: there were some moments that I thought were, intentionally or otherwise, reminiscent of both Twilight and Lord of the Rings.  Anyone else catch them?  I won't mention specifics, but one shot with KStew was straight out of New Moon.

- Overall: I liked it!  Had Kristen not been in it, I probably wouldn't have bothered to see it, since supernatural stuff isn't my thing (and yet, I somehow landed in the Twilight fandom and never left... hmm), but it was worth seeing.

SCORE! Universal confirm SWATH sequel :D

According to Hey U Guys, Universal have confirmed a sequel to Snow White and the Huntsman!

Although there have been rumours of more in the "series", green-light was reportedly box-office dependent - looks like the opening weekend totals did the job.

SWATH director, Rupert Sanders has apparently been offered the job, although is under no obligation to sign on - however, it remains to be seen whether all the original cast will return *fingers crossed*

Breaking Dawn Part 2 cast spill sparkly vampire beans...

Jackson Rathbone (Jasper) and Nikki Reed (Rosalie) were interviewed about Breaking Dawn Part 2.  Jackson had pretty much zero to say (but his dimples and smile say PLENTY), but Nikki was a little more forthcoming.  Check it out!

Can't wait to see the vampire girl trio!  However, I'd like to know whose @sses they're kicking, because (spoiler alert?) it never really comes to blows in the final showdown.  Perhaps this is during Alice's early vision of the battle, which at one point supposedly included some Cullens and wolves dying.  (Does anyone remember that rumor?)

What do you think - who are they fighting?

At laaast :D Kristen's GORGEOUS Vanity Fair cover shoot (and behind the scenes video with interview)!

Update: Oooh, HQ scans now available at Gossip_Dance :)

*Possible NC17 warning - our gal loves to swear*

Click for lovely...

I thiiiiink this is my fave :)

I am ALL about this photoshoot - it was never going to be anything but win - amazing!

Now, this interview, this is badass:
“I have been criticized a lot for not looking perfect in every photograph,” Kristen Stewart tells Vanity Fair contributing editor Ingrid Sischy in July’s cover story. “I get some serious shit about it. I’m not embarrassed about it. I’m proud of it. If I took perfect pictures all the time, the people standing in the room with me, or on the carpet, would think, What an actress! What a faker! That thought embarrasses me so much that I look like shit in half my photos, and I don’t give a fuck. What matters to me is that the people in the room leave and say, ‘She was cool. She had a good time. She was honest.’ I don’t care about the voracious, starving shit eaters who want to turn truth into shit. Not that you can say that in Vanity Fair!”
Hells to the yeah!

MTV Movie Awards 2012 - who won what... and then totally got their mack on!

Although Rob didn't attend last night's MTV Movie Awards in LA *wahwah* (he was spotted at a Marcus Foster show back in London town) Kristen finally made out on stage, if only with herself... hey,you can't tell me you wouldn't if you were here ;)

Kristen accepted the award for Best Kiss *WHOOP WHOOP* and the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn Part 1 also won for Best Movie where Taylor and more of the cast accepted the award (if anyone has a YouTube link please let me know, otherwise...) see the full list of winners at MTV

Here's hoping the 2013 awards bring Breaking Dawn Part 2 the hat-trick... and maybe a little something to rival Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling *sigh* I heart The Notebook so hard.

Rob looking tuxlicious at Cosmopolis premiere in Cannes

Robert Pattinson's latest film, Cosmopolis, premiered in Cannes on May 25th.  GoodReads describes the book of the same name - upon which the movie is based - as follows:
"It is an April day in the year 2000 and an era is about to end. The booming times of market optimism — when the culture boiled with money and corporations seemed more vital and influential than governments — are poised to crash.
Eric Packer, a billionaire asset manager at age twenty-eight, emerges from his penthouse triplex and settles into his lavishly customized white stretch limousine. Today he is a man with two missions: to pursue a cataclysmic bet against the yen and to get a haircut across town.
Stalled in traffic by a presidential motorcade, a music idol’s funeral, and a violent political demonstration, Eric receives a string of visitors — experts on security, technology, currency, finance, and a few sexual partners — as the limo sputters toward an increasingly uncertain future."
I don't have to tell you that Rob looked good at the premiere.  Premiere Rob always looks good.  (And Hobo Rob.  And Airport Rob.  And...)

You put your left foot in, you put your left foot out...

Entertainment Weekly's review of Rob in the role of Eric Packer was very... positive:
"Robert Pattinson, pale and predatory even without his pasty-white vampire makeup, delivers his frigid pensées with rhythmic confidence, but he’s not playing a character, he’s playing an abstraction – the gazillionaire bad-boy hotshot who flies too close to the sun, but he likes it up there, so f— you!”
