Ok, I haven't read the book (just the script... philistine)but is Rob not a great deal younger than most of the actresses starring in this movie? Even Christina Ricci is half a decade older..And in a few months Reese Witherspoon, even older! Are they afraid of casting age appropriately?
He is very age appropiate in all that was mentioned and yes he is supposed to be younger than his co- stars in Bel Ami. I have no problem with older women with him. Hollywood does this with older male actors and younger female actresses ALL THE TIME!!!! For once it's the the other way! Too Gorgeous- does he really know what he does to all of us??? *Thud*
OK, now that I have recovered, all I want for Christmas is him and I can wait - as long as I have too. If this is the first still from the film, I want more and I want them now.
Because Uma is in it I will not see it. There are about 4-5 actors/actresses. I just can not stand watching. She is #1 on list for actresses. Also just not my type of movie. But Uma main reason I will skip it
For those of you that have not read Bel Ami, I highly recommend it. If you love romance novel, this is it. I was surprised for a 19th century novel the sexuality that was in it-and I was digging it :-P There were a few moments when I was actually sweating while reading it and wished so badly that was me he was doing some of the "stuff" to. I can totally see what part of the book the picture displayed above comes from and I can't wait to see this movie. Alls I can say from reading this is that the sex scenes (if its anything like the book) are gonna be SMOKIN HOT!
