  8. UNKLE is for the fight scenes...you can just tell. Im interested in hearing Cee-Lo Green tho, he's done stuff with Timbaland and he's RnB which is new for Twilight. Other than that, EPIC!! I love all these bands before this was even announced.

  12. It's weird, on one hand I'm kind of bothered by the fact so many bands I like are on the soundtrack because I want to keep the fangirls away from them (and I don't mean fans, fans are fine, I'm talking about the obnoxious fangirl-y types that will only like something because it's Twilight related - like the ones who suddenly *loved* Muse and Debussy and all the other bands Smeyer mentioned on her playlists).

But, at least I know I like the soundtrack (well, assuming the songs will be good). I love Metric, Bat for Lashes, Band of Horses, Sia and Florence and the Machine and there's a few others I like too. <3 :)

  15. I was so surprised today when I kept receiving tweets about the bands on the soundtrack! This time, I've actually heard more than 75% of the bands. Lookin' forward to The Bravery (love them), Metric, Vampire Weekend, and of course Muse!

But i totally agree about the fangirls, that scares me a little too. I've always sort of liked the fact that noone knew who I was talking about haha. Oh well, this soundtrack is going to be so good!

  18. Sia, Muse, Vampire Weekend, and Cee-Lo - I'm stoked! I can't wait. I'm sure if all of the soundtrack songs will actually make it into the film, but I would be happy if that was the case.

I'm super happy that a decent hip-hop artist made the cut this time around.

Loved that Sia (@siamusic) tweeted: "twilight? woohoo! i'm gonna be richish!" - http://twitter.com/siamusic/status/13906076224

  19. Wow, awesome. It'd be cool if they used The Bravery - "Slow Poison" for Breaking Dawn.
