  1. I was watching this with my mum and at the end she asked "Where is she from?" and I said America, then she said "Oh! She sounded like she was Wales!"
Lol I think it's just coz she was so nervous in her voice.

  5. Congrats Kstew!! Fames a bitch, but girl it's ok to speak with complete sentences without having a script. Write down a few sentences for a speech. She was home schooled and never went to college, but she still should take a public speaking class- we all hate it, but she'll be doing this for a long time, it might help her nerves:)) I feel bad for her, cuz she can be so articulate at times.

  7. This one of the best speech of the show. It was sweet, sincere and effevtive.
She recognize that this was a vote award. So thanks the twifandom for it. Then she talk about how great her competitor was and i don't see why all this negativity is coming from. The speech was good.

  9. damourkrist: Ditto to that! I thought her slight nervousness was only endearing and sweet. And I so loved that she thanked the Twilight fans ... 'cause that's where its at!
    Love Kristen!

  10. I think Kristen feels like she didn't the award. She shouldn't feel like that, she should give herself some credit.

  12. She truly has serious problems with public speaking. Congrats to her, but poor thing was beyond awkward. Worst I've seen her ever.

  13. I love Kristen Stewart, do not get me wrong. but I feel like this speech could've been a lot better. I think she really cares about what she does, but she should work on her confidence so people don't keep calling her out on being so blaze

  15. I'm sorry that so many people mix up awkwardness with sincerity, emotion and, modesty.
Personaly, someone who recite a standard speach and doesn't care, it's really not my cup of tea.

    kristen rules!

  16. Give her credit for showing up to accept it when she's so shy in public. Some people will never be good public speakers - don't try to force them into that mold. Everyone has different talents. Hers is huge on film. This is a very independent young woman whose value system is so different from the typical young Hollywood-produced actress - she's from a Hollywood "crew" family, and has seen the dark side and the laughable side of the industry. She probably has a lot of cynicism towards it, and awards shows. Once she begins to feel she really deserves the honors (and she DOES), she'll relax more. May take a while. We heart you, KStew - you're pretty damned special!

  17. I give her credit but really her unbelievable awkardness in every interview, awards ceremony, red carpet event, etc. starts to feel like she doesn't CARE and her whole attitude is "I am above/better than this. I adored her when Twi first came out but the more I have seen of her in public the more I am starting to think she doesn't get how important it is to be good at these events.

  18. Linda, I totally agree, KSTEW IS SUPER SPECIAL!

I wrote that Awkwaaard comment cause you could see that in the faces of the audience :P
    Loved her speech though!
    WE LOVE YOU KRISTEN!!

  19. i thought that speech was almost perfect, i love how humanly she is! And the fact that she once dropped the prize: i thought that was so funny and sweet and that made me love her even more!! Its so easy to like her cause shes so.. normal, and i soo disagree with the previous anonymous: she so doesnt think shes above "this",but the opposite! She almost seems to think like she doesnt deserve any credit and nobosy is interested at her, or at least she wonders why anyone would be.

Dont blame her from being her normal self, instead of the "perfect" hollywood chic..

  20. I don't understand why people want everyone to look the same, act the same, be pretty, be perfect, to put on a mask.

I like kristen because she reminds me of a lot of shy akward sweet kids out there. She reminds me that being a teenager growing into a woman is sometime if not mostof the time a painful experience.

Yes she is full of teenage angst and insecurity.
But she is also full of security and confidence when it comes to what she wants to do in her life as an "artist" and a person.

    Her speech was delightful.
She knew really well that she didn't deserved this award, she tried her best not to put it out there. But you can feel it. Because this is who she is. She reminds everyone in the audience that she was still a overwhelmed teenager.
She aknoledge the fact she wouldn't have won if it was a performance award hence the give credit wher is due to twifans votes.

She almost tears up in her first interview after her speech because she knows it wasn't her time to win. Noel clarke was a gentleman to tell her that it wasn't only because of twi, but for adventureland, speak, into the wild and others.

Here kristen has a complex of inferiority due to twi and it shows. It was sincere and sweet.

If she had wrote something people would have bash her for being pretentious and over confident. She can win; She is who she is.

Some great actor out there and director are really poor public speaker. i can call a few Woody allen, Tim burton, jonhy depp, joaquim phenix and others.

  21. Kristen, I'm a huge fan. Didn't know u until Twilight but after sought you out in all your movies after watching Twilight.
I am so disappointed on your acceptance speech and the attitude you beamed out. Yes, Twilight fans voted for you but it doesn't mean u don't deserve to win. It doesn't mean that you are less talented than the rest of the nominees. IT MEANS WE WANT TO SEE MORE OF U. Please don't disrespect ur fans by saying that this was another "Twilight crazed voting spree" as I do understand the phenomenon. Your fans are what makes u a star, not your peers/competition. Hopefully you will value us more than what u think other stars think u are worth.

  22. I thought she did great, she is who she is and she does not owe the world a great speech. You want a performance, go see one on her movies. The interview was sweet, I really liked the lady who interviewed her, she was very emphatic towards Kristen. She interviewed Kristen before right?

  23. I'm a huge twifan. I can't say Kstew is nice cuz i don't know her she seems like a nice person. However her speeches and interviews are like watching her act its all ackward and not just cuz of the twi films but all her films. i Know it sounds like im hating but we as fans have the right to criticize we make them what they are FAMOUS
