ReplyDeleteI saw Runaways this morning. Very well done. Kristen's performance is solid, Dakota's pretty incredible. All the buzz about the whole "make out" scene between the two was blown way out of proportion. One interesting tidbit was that during Q&A, someone in the audience asked whether the director was concerned that the R-rating would turn away Kristen's Twilight fans. The director said that she didn't make the film for the Twilight fans and the entire audience started clapping. As a Twilight fan, I was embarrassed that someone would ask that question. Do we really expect or even want every subsequent director of this group of young actors to only cast them in PG-rated/Twilightish roles?!?! Ugh, I thought it made us all look really bad. But anyhoo, hoping to Kristen at some point during the festival. I'm seeing Meet the Rileys tomorrow.

I love that Kristen is wearing the same kind of Adidas that Rob has :) I should have drove up there, (only 30 minutes from me) Maybe I could have got a glimpse of her. Now if Rob was there...well that's a different story ;)

ReplyDeleteWow!! Love, love, loved the radio interview. It's nice when they can be themselves a least a little bit. That interviewed showed a side of KS that I like, very real. Love all the pics too. Thanks for all the posts.

the blonde girl in the last photo is Riley Keough, who is playing Marie in the movie, Cherie's fraternal twin. Riley is also Elvis Presley's Grandaughter.
