New kid Dakota Fanning surfaced as well, in a frilly white top and teal handbag to join costars like Jamie Campbell Bower and Rachel Lefevre.
Not to be outdone, 16-year-old Taylor Lautner made waves all his own. Onlookers tell RadarOnline.com that teen star Selena Gomez joined the cast for their celebration but left separately to avoid being photographed together.
Pattinson and Stewart weren't as shy. The pair, in cutesy knee lock, shared a towncar back to their hotel around 3 a.m.
New Moon Cast Dines with Eclipse Director, David Slade
I feel semi-slimy blogging about this, but Lainey Gossip revealed through multiple tweets last night that the New Moon Cast, Stephenie Meyer and David Slade were all out together at the Blue Water Grill last night.Why do I feel slimy? Well, it kind of sounds like Lainey's tweet contributed to disrupting the dinner by unleashing tons of paps and fans on what was supposed to be a celebratory fete. I'm sure there will be tons o' pics as soon as the West Coast wakes up today.

Especially me. Chris Weitz is the zen ringmaster doing a fantastic job. The Volturi look amaaaazing. Michael Sheen embodies Aro so completely, elevating the role to a whole new level. Dakota as Jane knocks me out. Rob and Kristen are gorgeous of course and and and... I probably shouldn't gush so much, no one will believe that everything is perfect but it is!
Finally got to spend some time with our new director for Eclipse, David Slade. And I gotta say, he’s great. Very smart, funny, creative. I already knew he was a really talented and visual filmmaker, but now I know he’s terrific to work with as well. Collaborative and, most important (from a writer’s point of view) smart about story, character and emotional arcs. He gets it. And he’s going to make Eclipse into a fantastic movie. So relax Eclipse fans! We’re in good hands.
Somebody Lives at Jacob's House

She told me how a lady came by in February to view the house and kept saying how "perfect" it was for the "Untitled Sports Movie" they were planning to film in town. She said she kept thinking "why would a sports movie need a dump-of-a-house like this?"

Alex Meraz Isn't Worried About Being Becoming a Sex Symbol
E!Online has a new interview with Alex Meraz, our new favorite New Moon DILF, where he reveals he's already encountered TwiLoonies, among other things:Alex also dished on some of the behind the scenes wolfpack bonding:"Someone started yelling at me because they didn't like my character," Meraz told us last night at a Carrera Vintage Sunglasses party at the Chateau Marmont hotel.
"I play a bad boy, so she got mad at me," he added. "She said, 'I hate you, Paul!' That was the craziest thing for me—being confused for a character."
Meraz's response to the hater?...
"I yelled back at her, 'I love you, too!'" he said.
Not only good-looking, but he's charming, too, and already one of the gang on the set! Uh-oh, is Meraz about to give Rob Pattinson a run for his money in the sex symbol department?
"Rob's just kind of soaking it up for everyone," Meraz said. "I'm happy to have just a smidgen of what he's got...I'm not worried about being a sex symbol."
It sounds like Meraz will be around for awhile. He kind of revealed that he may already be signed on to reprise his role in the third Twilight flick. "The next movie we're doing is Eclipse, so I'll wait to read the book a couple weeks before we start doing it, so I can really focus on it," Meraz said. "I don't want to spread myself too thin."
*Squee*Meraz, who plays a volatile member of the wolf pack named Paul, tells us he and fellow furry friend Taylor Lautner often pass the time between shooting doing martial arts, including karate and backflips.
"The wolf pack is like brothers," squealed Meraz, eagerly.
The crew is currently shooting in Vancouver, and Meraz says it is going "great." He adds that the sequel, in his humble estimation, will definitely be superior to the original.
"It gets bigger, better and more exciting," gushed Meraz.

People.com reports:She's settling into the Vancouver life! In town to shoot New Moon, Dakota Fanning took a break from work for a leisurely lunch with her mom and two women at the Cactus Club Café on Robson Street. The group grabbed a booth, and Fanning enjoyed fish tacos with shredded cheese. On her way to the restaurant, the teen star stopped and seemed happy to sign autographs for some fans.Thrilling. :-) I am really liking Dakota's leather jacket though.

RPattz Beats Out Brad Pitt to Top Celebrity Heat Index (a.k.a. Slow TwiCrack Day)
USA Today reports that this week, Rob has beaten Brad for the leading position in its Celebrity Heat Index:After a steady rise, the 22-year-old Twilight star has hit No. 1 on USA TODAY's Celebrity Heat Index, which measures media exposure. Pattinson is only half of the centerpiece cover image on the current issue of OK! and made No. 1 only on PopSugar.com's list of top stories, but he makes enough appearances in other outlets (TV, online and print) to put him ahead of the pack for the first time.Question: Do people outside of the Twilight universe know who Robert Pattinson is yet? I'm so TwiWarped that I have no idea. We are taking over the world! Muhahaha.
Pattinson was No. 3 on the index for April, and USA TODAY noted that his star was on the rise as photos from the set of the Twilight sequel, New Moon, began circulating.

Clean-shaven Aro Michael Sheen in Vancouver + More Filming Details
Lainey Gossip has more deets on what the cast has been up to in Vancity, and what they've been filming!Other Twilight sightings: fans spotted Peter Facinelli who went into H&M in the afternoon and stocked up, leaving with 5 shopping bags. Gifts for his girls! Kristen Stewart stayed quiet, enjoying her first day off in a while – not including weekends. And the cutest couple ever, Taylor Lautner and Selena Gomez, were out again last night for dinner, protected by a hulking security guard.How does Lainey know all this shizz?
As I’ve already reported, yesterday’s scenes involved the Volturi and Carlisle in a flashback explaining what happens to vampires who break the rules. Then they reject Edward’s request.
Today:
Edward is hurled in the air, tossed against a wall when he attempts to protect Bella. Am pretty sure in the book his torture consisted of him writhing on the floor in pain. Obviously, visually, the throwing is much more spectacular, requiring much less emphasis on, um, Robert Pattinson’s facial expressions. Every time he was hurting in the first movie, he looked like he wanted to poo. Oh hush Twi-hards. It was the direction!
Also on sched: Aro is convinced to release Bella, Edward, and Alice because he sees the vision.

Twilight Publishers to Release Several New Titles Related to the Twilight Saga
EW.com reports that we'll have a few new Twilight-related products to feed our TwiCrack addictions this fall:Little, Brown will be publishing several books this fall that are tied in with the franchise. Along with movie tie-in literature for this year's New Moon adaptation, the publisher will also release a limited special edition of Breaking Dawn, as well as journals that feature cover art for all four books.I really should just set up automatic-withdrawals from my bank account to pay for all these new things. Gah!According to a press release from the publisher, the Breaking Dawn Special Edition, on stands Aug. 4, will include a DVD of the Breaking Dawn concert series and interviews with Meyer. Those who pick up the hardcover book can also expect a poster and reproduction of handwritten lyrics for “My Never,” by Blue October’s Justin Furstenfeld. The Twilight Journals (pictured), out Oct. 13, are packaged in a tin and include “decorative quotes” from each book. For those hoping to buy books tied into New Moon, Little, Brown will release New Moon: The Complete Illustrated Movie Companion on Oct. 6 and New Moon trade and mass-market paperback tie-ins in September and November, respectively. They will also publish a New Moon Collector’s Edition on Oct. 6.

Filming Deets: Why Jamie Campbell Bower is Totally Whacked Right Now
Lainey Gossip gives deets on what scenes were filmed today:The wolves have wrapped shooting. It’s now Volturi time. As I first reported yesterday, Dakota Fanning, Michael Sheen, and Jamie Bower Campbell have arrived in Vancouver. Dakota did not work today but Michael and Jamie had very early call times. Alright, so this is barely Twilight-related, but I love Amanda Seyfried. Twilight Widower Makes Me Realize I Need to Pay More Attention to Mr. TCA
Thanks to Twitarded, I found Twilight Widowers Anonymous, a support site for husbands, boyfriends, and life partners of Twilight Addicts.
As I read Twilight Widower's hilarious blog post about a Typical Day in the Life of a Twilight Widower , I found my face turning beet red, because I realize that I too have turned my husband into a Twilight Widower.
10:30- I receive yet another e-mail from the wife with more links to the "hilarious" adventures of the Edward Cullen action figures, which other over-30 married women apparently seem to be occupying themselves with instead of taking care of their loved ones. I am happy that the wife has not yet demanded I buy one for her. (Although, I suspect, it is only a matter of time.) (TCA: Oops, Mr. TCA bought me a Plastic Edward already)I think that my husband could've written a similar story, and now I feel kind of bad! While the rest of Twilight Widower's post was super-funny, here is the part that made me cringe:
12 Noon- I begin to wonder if I am starting to resent Robert Pattinson, but I decide no. I return to vandalizing "R-Pattz" pictures on Photoshop. (TCA: My husband mentioned Jackson Rathbone's name the other day and knows what Forks is; I'm semi-embarrassed that I've tainted him with Twilight vocab)
1:30 p.m.- I get another e-mail from my wife, asking whether I can get a copy of the The Twilight Saga: The Official Guide on my way home.
5:30 p.m. Arrive home. As usual, no dinner. Wife is re-reading entire Twilight saga, and has isolated herself in our bedroom, saying she has "work to do." (TCA: Guilty^100)
9 p.m.- Am lonely. Consider asking wife to watch Twilight DVD for 7th time. But then, what will we do on date night? Hmmm...maybe I will play Xbox with the teen.The other night, I was shocked when Mr. TCA actually suggested watching Twilight together, though I know he'd rather be watching hockey playoffs. Was he lonely enough for me that he was willing to endure sitting through Twilight??

Twilight Cast's Post-Dills Show Jam Session :-)
Normally I just ignore OK! magazine as being full of bullshizz, but today they have a little story about the Twilight cast's Post-Dills hotel room jam session.After deeming the 20-minute Sage & the Dills concert at Vancouver hot spot Metropole too short for his taste, an enchanted Robert Pattinson invited the band and his fellow New Moon co-stars, including Kristen Stewart, back to his hotel for an impromptu jam session on April 18.I only found this article interesting because it contrasts with all those crap-stories about how KStew and Rob went home together after the Dills' Metropole show, and it corroborates those pics that we saw of KStew & Rob, then Nikki & Dill all getting out of cabs at the same hotel that night.
As Robert, who plays dreamy vampire Edward Cullen, strummed his guitar, on-screen sibling Jackson Rathbone (Jasper) played harmonica while their big-screen sister Nikki Reed (Rosalie) added lyrics she had practiced onstage earlier that evening while serenading cast mate Taylor Lautner.
“We just got really creative,” lead singer Sage tells OK! of the intimate hotel-room session, which sounded like a mix of old-school rock and country as well as Van Morrison, Robert’s favorite rocker. “Everything blended together really well.”

First Volturi in Vancouver Photos + Dakota's First Filming Scenes
See them all at Lainey Gossip! Also, Lainey dishes on potential scenes being filmed today:Anyway, Dakota is tentatively supposed to start shooting today schedule permitting. What’s up this week? Green screen work that involves driving around in a Porsche. And the cliff diving scene. Bella wants to jump, Edward the apparition asks her not to.Read it all at Lainey.
Then Edward takes a phone call, gets very upset and the phone disintegrates in his hand.
And then Edward, Bella, Alice are escorted by some vampires (including Dakota Fanning) through the underground passage to meet with the others.
Also shooting the scene when they leave and Heidi brings in the victims.
Jamie is so happy!

David Slade Addresses His Twilight Tweets & Covers His Ass Reassures Fans

At uni I was on a strict diet of Bronte and Baynton, Hardy and Huxley. I could proudly display the dust jacket of my chosen read, knowing that I looked the picture of literary sophistication.
That was until Edward Cullen entered my life.
My relationship with the heroic vampire of Stephanie Meyer's Twilight series began on a strictly need-to-know basis. I needed to know what was keeping my daughter occupied in her room for endless hours.
"Do you think we should let her read it?" I pondered to my beloved, moments after Miss Ten had revealed she had demolished half the book.
"It's probably a little late for that," he offered.
So I did what any responsible parent who had made an iffy call would do. I made a flat white and hoped the issue would vanish without parental intervention.
"You're letting her what?!" inquired my librarian mother-in-law over Christmas Day cold cuts and bon bons.
I laughed nervously, "It's not like I can censor her reading material."
"I've heard it's very sexual," she replied.
Discovering what my 10-year-old had been exposed to was the only noble solution. I would have to join the unwashed mass of readers - 40 million of them - and endure a spot of teen vampire romance. I was prepared to suffer what was necessary to pay penance for my crimes against motherhood.
Predictably, I too ended up yearning for Mr Cullen. I took him to bed with me, in to the car and just about any place the opportunity for a little quality time might arise. The text burned so little cognitive energy that I could read a chapter or two in the presence of Miss Three.
And I couldn't get enough. "I'm just reading it to supervise my 10-year-old," I said whenever sprung without the War And Peace dust jacket to cover my dirty secret. I rolled my eyes in mock irritation but the only irritation was being distracted from my bloodsucker.
Several months and four books later, I've conceded defeat. I'm lumping my bestseller bias into the same heap of inevitability as my lacklustre cleavage. I'll put Bronte on the back burner until the kids move out.

Potential New Moon Script Leak & Other Places I Don't Wanna Go
Dear everybody, Yesterday I got wind of a supposed December 2008 draft of the New Moon script floating around, and by now some media outlets are reporting on this widely-Twittered news. As a professed TwiCrack junkie, you *know* I wanna go there (Hi, my name is TwiCrack and I'm an Addict, remember?) and there have been times where I've crossed the line feeding my sick addiction, but I'm just not gonna go there with this one.
So, it's out there. And thanks to everybody who sent it to me and risked turning me into Gollum by taunting me with this *Precious*. You can probably find Precious pretty easily, but I'm not gonna be posting this type of mega-spoiler, which if real, was most definitely ill-gotten.
You know I loves the spoils, but like Midnight Sun, this script is the fishy-type of spoiler that will potentially denigrate my November 20th New Moon experience. I'm already gonna be distracted the first time around comparing the movie to the book, let alone a draft script! To each her own, but this is where I stand on the matter. :)

Spunk Ransom reports that RPattz will be attending Cannes Film Festival in mid-May:My assistant Elizabeth has been able to confirm that Rob will be attending the Cannes Film Festival. We were not able to confirm if he is attending with Allen Coulter, director of “Remember Me”, however, mark your calendars for the Cannes Film Festival!We'll have to keep on the lookout for Spunk updates!
The Cannes Film Festival begins May 13th (Rob’s birthday) and ends May 24th! If we hear a particular date, you can bet we will pass that along to you! This would time particularly well with the rumored Italy filming suspected to take place May 25-30th!

Best Kiss Nominee Complains That No Awards Are Deserved for Kissing RPattz
Hee hee, I may have to agree with Best Kiss contender, Tom Lennon, here. from MTV.com:
"I Love You, Man" co-star Tom Lennon isn't surprised that "Twilight" couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are up for Best Kiss at the MTV Movie Awards, but frankly, he thinks his kiss with Paul Rudd is more deserving of the Golden Popcorn.
"Pattinson, Stewart — no doubt some great Frenching going on, and I respect that, but for level of difficulty, if this was the Olympics, kissing Robert Pattinson is like a three on the difficulty," Lennon told MTV News. "There's no trick to doing that. I don't know why you get awards for kissing Robert Pattinson. You're not going to find anybody down in Times Square that's gonna run up and wanna kiss me. Rudd did, and that's points for difficulty."

Late Night Taylor Lautner Fan Encounter
Hush was leaving work late last night, and look who she bumped into on her normal route to the train station!I just got off work around 11PM and walk down my usual street to head down the station when I saw Taylor heading my way. He was wearing his brown hoodie paired with his black jeans. I never thought I would see him around that time. He was walking alone the empty streets of Vancouver. I was like 3 meters away when I noticed it was him. When our paths crossed I told him if I can take a picture of him and me and he gladly said "Yeah for sure!". That was so awesome of him! Inches away from Taylor!? Yeah!Thanks for sharing, Hush! :-)
Pardon my attire as I just got off work and who would have known I would meet Taylor! lolz. It was amazing! He definitely made my day after the dragging hours of work! I also just want to say thank you to the two gentlemen who took our picture! I bet they were wondering who I was, taking a random picture from a guy walking down the street! lolz.. They're totally clueless about Taylor!

"I know this is the pinnacle of where things are about to change for me," says Korey, who hasn't worked a day job since a brief stint as a waitress when she came to Vancouver from Toronto as a teen in 2002. In New Moon, Korey adds sweetness and light as Emily, part of the story's community of natives who befriend lovelorn teen Bella (Kristen Stewart) when her vampire beau (the freshly minted superstar Robert Pattinson) leaves town. Some of those natives have another side as werewolves, and human Emily bears the scars from where her werewolf boyfriend once got too close.
The fan frenzy around all things Twilight has Korey lying low.
"I wasn't even allowed to say I was in it for months," she says. As well, Korey has stayed away from the Internet fan chatter.
"My agent is like, 'You're banned from the Internet, you're not allowed to Google yourself, because people can be really mean.'"

I feel somewhat frustrated at not having gone to college, so I'm trying desperately to autoeducarme. I brought with me to Vancouver as 100 books, I have scattered all the hotel room.
It's not too late to go to college, RPattz! How cool would that be if Rob showed up in your classroom? I've always admired those actors like Natalie Portman who've been able to balance their careers and educations.
