The Merc With A Mouth over at IMDB reports that New Moon may be filming at her school!

She writes that a movie is going to be filmed at her school, but it's being kept secret:

So far they have closed off half of the cafeteria and added giant blue pillars and they have changed the hallway lights into a light blue tint. I go to [XXX] in Vancouver BC, exactly where it says they are filming. Even more proof is that they are not telling any students what movie it is, which means they are trying to keep it secret.

Also, Merc With A Mouth shares that the crew has added round tables, and country flags in the cafeteria. However, the clincher is the Forks High paraphernalia she spied:

Anyways I have 100% proof they are filming New Moon here. There was a shirt that said "Forks High" that they put into the trophy case at the front, but when I saw, the crew member quickly hid it with a purple blanket and covered it up, then they locked the case. Its like they were... hiding something. lol.

Kristen Stewart Receives Praise for her Adventureland Performance

LA Times praises Adventureland's coming-of-age story as engaging, bittersweet and even fun, and gives props to Kristen Stewart for her performance:

Stewart is the beautiful, enigmatic and very experienced Em. Though the audience, if not Em and James, will know from the first exchange of glances that something is in the air between these two, it is a tribute to the skills of both Eisenberg, excellent as the older son in "The Squid and the Whale," and Stewart, equally good as the ethereal Bella in " Twilight," that this relationship between opposites comes off as believable and attractive.

The Vancouver Sun reports on how a chance encounter with Robert Pattinson changed the life of Vancouver indie artist Adaline:

Adaline, one of Canada's up n' coming indie-pop stars, ran into Twilight's Robert Pattinson — a.k.a. bloodsucker Edward Cullen — at a club in Vancouver.

She wrote about the experience on Twitter and MySpace, which was then posted to several Pattinson fan sites. In less than 24 hours, flocks of Twilight fans were checking out her MySpace page. How cool is that?

As a token of her appreciation, Adaline is now offering a free download of her single, Whiter/Straighter, from her delicious debut, Famous For Fire.

"Who would have ever thought that one small Twitter post would result in over 20,000 plays of my music and hundreds and hundreds of personal messages of encouragement!" she writes on her blog.

Yesterday in Vancouver, Taylor Lautner and Gathegi from Twilight/New Moon walking down the street – they had dinner together, both were filming this week.

I like the look of Taylor in his hoodie and leather jacket.

Taylor’s been super busy so far. Shooting almost every day. And training, both on his body and on a bike. Am told he’s a sweet kid: polite, grateful, works hard. His dad has been around the entire time – it’s law to have a guardian at his age on the job. Not like Dina Lohan who put her daughter up, when she was the same age, to live at the Chateau Marmont and left. Hopefully then Taylor will be an exception to that curse.

He’s also very popular among his co-stars in a little brother kind of way. Nikki Reed and Kristen are supposedly super protective, also both intent on helping him, whenever possible, to gain more of the spotlight. Making Taylor famous is almost like a project for them.

And if you’ve been reading in a bottom feeding rag that Kristen and Taylor are flirting on set, or that something romantic is going on… total bullsh-t. Ridiculous.

Kristen’s boyfriend Michael Angarano is still in town. They were together yesterday when her day was over.

My buddy Twilight Treasury (Code Name: Emma) blogs that RPattz claims to have trouble with the ladies. The Vancouver Sun reports:

Twilight star Robert Pattinson admits his luck with girls hasn't been too good. The British actor, in Vancouver filming the Twilight sequel New Moon, admitted to Glamour magazine: "I had really bad luck with girls when I was younger, the ones I liked hated me and the ones that liked me were not my type. But that’s something that I still go through. I like girls that I shouldn’t like. But I’m learning, and now I take my time before I let the girl know."

Pattinson says he hasn't got much time for romance these days because of the Vancouver shooting schedule, but accepts the scrutiny he's under because of his Twilight fame. "I knew what I was getting myself into."

Whatev, Rob. You'll be fine, because according to CNN.com, funny guys get the babes (and we think you're pretty funny):

According to new research, women rate funny guys as more intelligent than guys who are not so funny. The research was presented this week at the British Psychological Society Annual Conference in Brighton, England.

"Over the course of history, women actively look for signs that their man is intelligent, and I believe the ability to actively judge the situation and pull off a joke and make you laugh is an intelligent feat," said Kristofor McCarty, a researcher at Northumbria University in Newcastle, England, and author of the study, in an e-mail.

The Vancouver Sun reports on where the Twilight cast has been eating while in Vancouver:

Teen heartthrob Robert Pattinson and his Twilight co-stars have been dining out regularly at Glowbal Grill and Satay Bar in Vancouver's trendy Yaletown.

A tipster notified The Vancouver Sun Wednesday night of the star's recent appearance, and a manager — who declined to give his name — confirmed that the Twilight cast frequent the swanky eatery "two or three times a week."

The manager added that he didn't want to scare the cast away and refused to provide any more information.

Um, Mr. Manager, I think that by revealing to a newspaper that the Twilight cast eats at your restaurant, you've already scared them away while drumming up mad business for your restaurant. Nice. Read the rest here.

Rob Starts Shooting His First Scenes & Nikki Goes Back to LA

Nikki Reed managed to make her flight yesterday back to LA – chill, these are file photos – after spending a few days with her BFF Kristen Stewart in Vancouver and enjoying a couple of sleepovers with Robert Pattinson. Can’t blame him, she’s sexy as hell. Seems self assured – rare for someone so young. Love her.

Rob meanwhile shot his first scenes for New Moon yesterday. That’s right. Yesterday. He had not been on set up until that point. He’s been in Vancouver, he’s had some test photos taken, and wardrobe and makeup, and training, and rehearsals, but he had not been on set. Not a single frame was filmed until yesterday. Yesterday he was on set shooting with Kristen Stewart. More of the same throughout the week.

Eeee! Maybe they're filming the *break-up* scenes. I can't wait!!

You Think You Know Kristen, But You Really Have No Clue...

USA Today has an introspective interview with Kristen Stewart, where she talks about what her life would've been like without all this crazy Twilight fame, Adventureland, and how people think they know her, but really don't:

"You're so connected to people and they all know how to get to you, and everyone knows who you are, so explicitly. They think they know you. It's like, 'You really think you know me? I don't know me! How do you know I'm not different around someone else?' " Her voice gets a little loud, and she slumps back in her chair.

"It almost makes the secrets more important, those few things you actually do choose to keep to yourself," she says quietly.

KStew also talks about how she is grateful for Twilight, but doesn't feel she did anything special to deserve all this attention:

"I'm really proud of Twilight. I think it's a good movie. It was hard to do, and I think it turned out pretty good. But I don't take much credit for it. So when you show up at these places, and there's literally like a thousand girls and they're all screaming your name, you're like, why? You don't feel like you deserve it."

Nikki Reed in Vancouver...Having a Slumber Party?

Lainey Gossip provides the goods & dirt again:

Exclusive shots of Nikki Reed on Sunday afternoon. Shortly after these photos were taken she took off for Rob’s place. Later that night (Sunday) they met up with friends, then ended up at one of the label parties after the Junos with Kristen Stewart and her boyfriend Michael Angarano. Am told Rob and Nikki spent much of the time talking to each other, heads bent close together.

My sources tell me exclusively that at the end of the evening, or early morning depending how you see it, the four of them left the event, hugged before parting ways (a weird 4-way group hug), Kristen and Michael hopped in a cab, and Nikki and Rob walked further up the block… arms wrapped around each other on their way home.

She stayed with him overnight, was supposed to be back in LA on Monday….

But never showed.

Inneresting. Very inneresting. I like slumber parties. Don't believe everything that you read. :-) See the pics here.

New Moon La Push Scene Photos: Nice Big Flowing Wigs!

As you can see, they’re both wearing wigs. Movie making magic! And I always thought her hair was that thick and lustrous! There’d been a lot of questions about whether or not Taylor could grow into the role. From the back, Taylor does look kinda man now. Kristen’s make up is great. Am all over the stain they use on her lips. Gorgeous.

Right now, filming has primarily involved these two with some wolf shots thrown in here and there. THE DUDE WORKS HARD: Nabbing the key role in Twilight was no fluke for the young actor. "If there's anyone I have known in my life that deserves this, it's Alex," says Trijillo. "He's worked his ass off in the time I have known him. He never lets up."

Beyond staying in top physical shape, the actor-student works hard on honing his craft, including his New Moon audition. "Alex drove from Phoenix to my ranch in New Mexico on his birthday weekend so I could help him with his audition," says Trujillo. "It's about 8 hours each way. But he knew he needed to get this done."

"He's humble," says Trujillo. "And he always showed that he was willing to listen and learn."

SORRY LADIES, HE'S MARRIED: Alex is madly in love with his Vietnamese-American wife Kim. They have a child named Somak (Trujillo is the god-parent). Kim was the one who was a true Twilight fan.

"His wife is the one who has read all of those books. And she's the one who said look, you have to got to get into this. This is perfect for you. You're the one."

TwiHards Staking-Out Filming Locations: I Want In On This Set-Stalking Ring :-)

Vancouver Sun reports that New Moon fans are rushing from location to location and using high-tech James Bond techniques to set-stalk:

Twilight fans have been running off their feet to catch a glimpse of New Moon stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.

New Moon, the second book in the Twilight series, is being shot at locations across British Columbia and the Twilight fansites and Twitter networkers are actively stalking the production and broadcasting locations as they become known.

Oh, wait. Are they talking about fansites like mine? Oops. Anyhoo, in spite of all the TwiHards' efforts, set-stalker Michele Danielov reports that there's not much to see:

When a friend called to say that the New Moon shoot had set up at Minnekhada Regional Park in Coquitlam, she didn't hesitate.

"I went down there during the day, but it was all blocked off," said the 37-year-old accountant. Although no active filming is taking place there now, Danielov plans to return to the park.

"The trucks are still there so they will for sure be coming back," she said.

On Friday Danielov spotted another film crew working in Pitt Meadows, by chance as she was driving by and returned that night with a friend

"On both sites, they brilliantly located them so you can't see anything," she said. "It's surrounded by trees."

Rene Haynes shares more details about her New Moon casting experience with Celebuzz, including just how vocal Twilight fans are:

When Haynes was hired to cast the Native American roles in New Moon, she immediately became the center of attention of fans eager to speak their minds.

"It was crazy, especially in the early days," Haynes tells Celebuzz.

"In the first four weeks after the announcement that my office was casting these roles we stopped counting emails after 20,000," she tells Celebuzz. "I am not exaggerating."

Vancouver Sun Talks About Cuckoo Fansites Like Mine Clamoring for New Moon Cast Photos

The Vancouver Sun reports:

Real star sightings are hard to come by as Pattinson is not showing up at location shoots to date. Twilight fan sites are speculating that his scenes are not yet filming.

Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner have been sighted on location near Long Beach, Pitt Meadows and Port Coquitlam.

The Wolf Pack, the young first Nations actors cast to play the La Push first nations gang of Stephanie Meyer's novel New Moon have been extensively photographed on the streets of Vancouver over the past few days. Photographs of Chaske Spencer, Alex Meraz and Kiowa Gordon are on laineygossip.com and links to those pictures are proliferating on Twilight fan sites.

Bring it on! I loves me some TwiCrack. :-)

Interestingly enough, a short while after their meal, Nikki was spotted heading over to Rob’s. She stayed at his place a few hours, then they went out and hooked up with some friends…

Tap-Dancing Vampires: Entertainmentwise Interviews Ashley Greene

Entertainmentwise.com has an exclusive interview with Ashley Greene where she talks about the cast's tight bond and also reveals that they had to take *tap dancing* lessons prior to Twilight:

Ashley also reveals that there is a strong bond between the actors off screen as well as on, with the cast regularly participating in group hang-outs to take the edge off work.

She adds, "We work long, long days and then get off and go out to eat, or go shopping together, or play music. We all kind of became this close knit family."

And as for other curricular activities, Ashley is eager to get back into dancing to improve her strength and stamina in readiness for those action scenes.

She says, "They had us do this tap class before [Twilight] so that kind of jolted my memory.

"Before the second film I'm going to take some dance classes to get back into that. Alice is a thin girl so there was a lot of cardio."

VOLTURI CASTING: Jamie Campbell-Bower is CAIUS!

BBC NEWS REPORTS:

British actor Jamie Campbell-Bower has revealed he will play Volturi leader Caius in The Twilight Saga: New Moon.

The 20-year-old, who has appeared in RockNRolla and Sweeney Todd, told the BBC news website that taking part in the vampire series was "very exciting".

"You're the first people I've told" he said. "Shooting has already started, and I'm going over in June."

The film, due for release in November, is the second adaptation from author Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series.

The role of Caius is key to the plot of New Moon. He forms part of the triumvirate leading the Italian based coven of vampires called the Volturi.

Jamie also reveals the following:

Campbell-Bower confessed he was not previously aware of the character: "I hadn't read the books before. But it's a great thing to be a part of, and it did very well last year."

Ever heard of Robert Pattinson, Nikki Reed, Sam Bradley???

Walking down a street, looking for a cool place to hang and have a beer… As I’m walkin, I pass in front of a terrasse of a nice ”trendy” restaurant. My eyes caught the face of someone reminding me of a singer I have just discovered. It’s HIM!!! next to the ”lookalike” is the boy with the hat. Next to the one with the hat, in front of the ”lookalike” is the girl without the wig. OK, this is too good to be true. I look at Penny and stop walking. Take another look, my own little voice is screaming inside. It cant be true… My head turns back one more time. The boy with the hat is looking at me; he knows I recognized him. He’s trying to hide in his jacket… I get the message that he’d rather like go unnoticed… So I decide to keep going on my mission for a place to hang out. In the meantime, a few calls to my friends who are gonna kill me if I dont go back… What should I do, what should I say?

After 15 minutes of walking around, Penny’s got a txt message sayin we should go to a certain bar… We turn around and walk toward some pub. I HAVE to pass by again. As I’m walking passed the restaurant, there’s 3 girls (I beleive a mom and daughters, but honnestly I was so in shock I dont remember…) were talking to them and took a picture. Ok, so, if I dont do this now, I wont get another chance. I’m getting to the table and apologize (so many times, I probably looked like a total idiot) for disturbing their night, chatted for a couple of minutes, about Sam’s music and their time in Vancouver. Penny got to take a picture of Rob, Nikki and I(after several try, battery was dying, flash was off…). I have never felt so stupid (I aint natural blond!!! lol) in my life but hey, who cares? I most probably wont run into them again and if I do, then I wont be in shock state of shock!
