Taylor Lautner is Hungry Like A Wolf + 20 pounds heavier

Check out these new photos of Taylor Lautner at the Kari Feinstein Golden Globe Style Lounge at Zune LA in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon over at Just Jared Jr.!
My Hungry Like a Wolf homage to Duran Duran may have been lost on many of you Millenials. Yes, I'm totally dating myself, but for old times sake and because it's my 29th birthday for the fourth time in a row (you do the math), I'm spicing up my blog with a little Simon Le Bon (Who? I know. I'm a geezer.).

According to Hollywood Scoop, Katy Perry would consider acting if the right role came along. Katy was quoted as saying, "I can't wait to see Milk, I haven’t seen it yet, I haven’t even seen Twilight. I don’t know where I live, probably under a rock or something like that," she joked.

Play Robert Pattinson Mad Libs
Go play Robert Pattinson Mad Libs over at x17.com!Remember Mad Libs, those super-cool, fill-in the-answer stories?!?
We thought we'd do our own version using a quote from Twilight hottie Rob Pattinson. We'll leave one word out and you get to fill in the missing word.
According to the NY Daily News, Spunk Ransom was overheard talking to a girl when he said the following:
"If I could, I'd have a _______ on the inside of my elbow so I could lick it all day long."
If you want to know what Robert actually said while out in L.A. while questioning a girl about her body parts (Pre-Twilight), click here
Clue: It rhymes with Mass-hole.

Vintage Robert Pattinson: When he was known as Cedric Diggory, not Edward Cullen

Just a year ago, some of us only knew Robert Pattinson as Cedric Diggory, and most of us didn't know who he was at all.
Well, click here for a vintage Robert Pattinson video that was posted one year ago today on January 9, 2008 from TMZ, where he *casually* mentions his upcoming plans to be in a little movie called 'Twilight'.

Robert Pattinson is Not Hot and could one day be Poofy 'n' Pasty, according to some dude
Well, I guess I can understand Rob's lack of appeal to men! But what if Rob does becomes poofy 'n' pasty one day and our future kids make fun of us old farts for thinking he was cute, the way we can't fathom our mothers' obsession over David Cassidy (who?). This blog post is hilarious. Reposted from E!Online's Ted Casablanca's Morning Piss:OK, he's doable, but not that doable. If Rob Pattinson had half the heat the naughtier vampire boys in the mega nonsexual, Mormon-authored franchise Twilight had (Taylor Lautner, Kellan Lutz, Cam Gigandet, hello!), I'd understand all the slobbering, Kristen Stewart included.
But can't ya just see Robby in five years poofy 'n' pasty like Brendan Fraser? OK, maybe that's an exaggeration, as even Brendan took it back off after packing it on, but look, Bobby baby does like to throw 'em back, so that's the bloated road he's headed for, just warnin' y'all.
Also, I love perpetual horniness as much as the next orgasm-starved babe out there, but I just can't see panting—unrequitedly—for Edward for the next 265 installments the Twilight producers are so clearly planning. Harry Potter will be nothing next to this incorporated teen fest!
That said, can we please get Rob to hit the bench press, lay off the booze and perhaps utilize a facial expression or two? Is that so much to ask?

It's official! Taylor Lautner will return as Jacob in New Moon
Check out the announcement on Stephenie Meyer's website here. Bye-bye Michael Copon; maybe he can take on one of the other New Moon roles that are now being cast!Good news about New Moon from director Chris Weitz: "I'm very happy to announce that Taylor Lautner will be playing Jacob Black in New Moon and that he's doing so with the enthusiastic support of Summit Entertainment, the producers, and Stephenie Meyer.
The characters in Stephenie's books go through extraordinary changes of circumstance and also appearance; so it is not surprising that there has been speculation about whether the same actor would portray a character who changes in so many surprising ways throughout the series. But it was my first instinct that Taylor was, is, and should be Jacob, and that the books would be best served by the actor who is emotionally right for the part. I think that fans of Twilight the book and the movie will be surprised by the Jacob Black that Taylor will bring to the screen in New Moon; and I'm looking forward to working with him and the rest of the cast in realizing the film.
very best
Chris Weitz"
I'd just like to add that I was very much a part of this decision. My first priority was always what was best for New Moon—what was going to give us the best possible movie. I'm truly thrilled that Taylor was the one who proved to the director, to Summit, and to me that he is the best possible Jacob we could have. And I'm very much looking forward to seeing what he's going to bring to Jacob's character this year.

Robert Pattinson bails on Parts Per Billion & the Burger King Beanie Mystery
Well, we've all heard by now that Robert Pattinson has dropped out of Parts Per Billion. What a bummer! E!Online has a quick article on that announcement here. The Twilight megahunk has dropped out of Parts Per Billion, the independent film he was supposed to begin shooting in Los Angeles this month, to ready himself for round two as vampiric heartthrob Edward Cullen.
Hmm...Looking at Robert's black beanie is making me doubt that he's the guy featured eating a hamburger in the Burger King fragrance report. I think the guy's beanie-look shown in the video is off. Check it out again here and see what you think!

Twilight Movie Online? Just wait for the Twilight DVD
So, I was surfing around on Yahoo! Answers, when I came across the inquiry, "How can I watch Twilight online?" For reals??Turns out, there are several websites where you can watch Twilight, as well as other flicks, online for free. Sounds tempting, but the first thing that I wondered was whether or not watching movies posted online is *legal*! On one of these sites, I found the following disclaimer:
Watch-Movies.net is absolutly [sic] legal and contain only links to other sites on the Internet
Hrm. Well, just because Watch-Movies.net can wash it's hands of responsibility for offering movies online for free, does it mean that it's ok for one to WATCH the movies offered? Well, I was unable to find a straight answer online, but until I learn otherwise, I don't wanna end up in trouble over watching some grainy video that somebody took with a shaky hand-held camera. Even if it turns out that it's legal to watch Twilight streaming online, somehow, this kind of reeks of wrong. My advice is to be patient and reward the hard work of the amazing Catherine Hardwicke & team by waiting for Twilight to be released on DVD this spring. Can't wait!

Robert Pattinson at Burger King? For $3.99, you can smell like a hamburger. Or maybe just eat one.
This is too funny not to post! I first read about how Robert Pattinson allegedly makes an appearance in a CNN news video about the new Burger King meat-scented cologne over at Rpattzdaily. Well, I found a better quality version of the CNN video. Scroll to 1:50; Do you think it's R-Patz?
In any case, turn your volume up and check out Burger King's Flame, where Fire Meets Desire: Body Spray of Seduction, with a hint of flame-broiled meat. This Burger King is disturbing. Very disturbing.

Edward still dazzles when times are tough
Teen retailer Hot Topic Inc. (HOTT) also is expected to be a winner, benefiting from demand for vampire-themed merchandise tied to the movie " Twilight."
See, Twilight is recession-proof; Twi-hards are buoying the economy by buying stuff like this.
Greetings from Volterra!
Also, according to Twilighters Anonymous, the Italian city of Volterra is campaigning to be part of the New Moon movie. Check out the entire story and beautiful photos of Volterra here.

Caught on Video: Robert Pattinson & Nikki Reed shopping for moving boxes
It's Robert Pattinson's shorter hair-do in action!
P.S. I know, I know -- It feels kinda dirty to watch these paparazzi videos. And, it's five boring minutes of people putting boxes into their car. But, you just can't help it...

Robert Pattinson's Official 'Let Me Sign' lyrics
After listening to the Twilight Movie Soundtrack dozens of times, I'm embarrassed to say that I had no clue what Robert Pattinson was singing about during the Edward-sucking-venom-out-of-Bella-scene until today. Luckily, the lyrics to 'Let Me Sign' were posted this afternoon to Bobby Long's MySpace blog. Ahh, now it all makes sense.
Let me Sign Lyrics written by Marcus Foster and Bobby Long
She was standing there by the broken tree
Her hands were all twisted she was pointing at me
I was damned by the light coming out of her eyes
She spoke with a voice that disrupted the sky
She said ' Come on over to the bitter shade,
I will wrap you in my arms and you'll know you've been saved'
Let me sign, let me sign, can't fight the devil so just let me sign.
I was out for a drink in a soho bar
The air was smoked out liked a cheap cigar
She rose out of her seat like a painted ghost
She was the woman that I wanted the most
As she reached for my arm I gave her my hand
I said 'Lay me down easy let me understand'
Let me sign, let sign, can't fight the devil so just let me sign.
As I walked through the door she was still in my head
As I entered the room she was laid there in bed
She reached out for me all twisted in black
I was on my way down, never coming back
let me sign, let me sign, can't fight the devil so just let me sign.

MTV Twilight Cast 2009 Update
1. "New Moon"
It's got a new director, a super-fast turnaround time, and several key casting decisions yet to be made. But, to borrow a phrase from Eric Yorkie: Chillax! Stephenie Meyer has already given her thumbs-up to the sequel, scripted by returning screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg, and everybody from Rob and Kristen to Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene and Peter Facinelli are in like Flynn. Not only is the November 20 release a no-brainer for the most anticipated "Twilight"-related movie of 2009, but to millions of die-hard fans, it's the single most anticipated flick of the year. Better keep those Tuesdays open, folks.
Notably, there is still no word on Taylor Lautner's involvement. See the rest of the list here.

Robert Pattinson & Nikki Reed dating?
I'm not sure whether or not this is just plain old rubbish, but if it's true, it's kinda cute! Crazy Days and Nights recently revealed that the couple featured in its September 17, 2008 Blind Item was none other than Robert Pattinson & Nikki Reed. "What film brother/sister duo in an upcoming blockbuster film are having to keep their relationship secret because of fears that the general public will not make the distinction between film and real life?"
