Twi Producer: "There is every intention to make Breaking Dawn"
Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse producer, Wyck Godfrey (and super nice guy!) is a GO for Breaking Dawn!
Has there ever reeeaaally been any doubt though? Come on now - Summit OKed New Moon packing tape ... seriously! They are making this movie - Ka'Ching!
Not sure how I feel about this whole "it might be in two parts" rumour though... thoughts?

ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm not really feeling the two parts either, but I guess if they truely do it right then I'll be happy ^.^ I would rather it be two movies then be rushed. That's one thing I didn't care for with New Moon, it seemed to me really rushed :(
as if they are not already raping the franchise for all they can w/ all the merch .. Surely they can't make 2 films. Really? I dont think there is a point that they can just end BD part 1 :S

Two movies means they can follow the books so much better. It would be too rushed in one movie. Imagine all the detail they'd have to leave out! There's so much there- Jacobs story, the wedding, the honeymoon, Renesme, Bella's transformation, the gathering to prepare for the Volturi (can't wait to "meet" all those vamps) etc. etc. etc

The only reason Breaking Dawn would be a 2part movie is so they can put as much detail into the movies as there is in the books, Which I don't object to, but I would rather it be 1 movie...but then It would be like 6 hours...I don't mind that, haha ;D <3 EDWARD

ReplyDeletePacking tape?! Who came up with that? Oh yeah... Breaking Dawn... two movies shown back to back with an intermission in between. That's my vote.
ReplyDeleteUntil I get a confirmation from Summit I won't get my hopes up but I think they should do a two parts movie. BD is a very complex book with a lot of important details and I rather want to wait and see it in two parts than get one movie with everything in forward. Some people complain that NM was very fast...imagine BD in one movie? It will be worst! Just my humble opinion!

ReplyDeleteAgain, I don't think that BD needs to be made into two parts. Scenes will be cut regardless!
i don't know how i feel about it being separated in to two parts ether, but I'm pretty sure it's going to be separated in to two parts since I'm an aspiring actress i've been working really hard on getting an audition, and as far as i know the casting will be soon and it's labeled "casting for breaking dawn part 1"

I would love to see BD in 2 movies. There are so many details in BD that if they were left out the "fight" wouldn't make much sense. Bella's transformation would have to be rushed and it would be so fun to see Edward and Jacob interacting and focusing on working together!! Can't wait to see BD. Fav book of the 4. (Love Midnight Sun!!
