For me, the clouds seem more like clouds of smoke maybe from the billowing pyre of burning newborn vampires?!?

@Sarah- I never thought of it that way. Maybe it isnt clouds, maybe it's the burning pires of new borns. They should make it more prominant, then. Hmmmm.
