New Rob Interview - YAAAAY!

Yay, a new interview with Rob - I love how unguarded he comes across, just really... "Rob" - honest, open and a nice guy!

... though sometimes I wonder if he says things on purpose or is a little too chillaxed for his own good ;) here's an excerpt:

How was it reuniting with Kristen Stewart for New Moon?

"There’s a natural chemistry going on with Kristen. Even doing this sequel, it’s so easy…

I was really worried that I wouldn’t know how to do it again, but it’s so easy to play off her.

She always says that she pretty much got me the part – though I don’t really believe her!"

What sort of arc does Edward go through this time?

"He’s always talking in the first one. “I need to make the right decision. I need to do stuff for you, for you, for you.” And he makes a decisive move, which is to leave her, and he completely believes it’s for her own good.

But in his heart, he obviously realises it’s completely wrong. And it takes him the whole movie to realise the profundity of his mistake. So that’s what his arc his.

The world forces him to realise he needs to be with Bella, and there’s no way around it"

  1. Rob just re-enforces the fact he truly is a good guy! I love his interviews, so open and honest.
I hope he stays this way and doesn't become jaded by a Hollywood lifestyle.

  2. Ah, Robert - so sweet but he could have said "blah, blah, blah - good, gogglie, mogglie." and I would have the same reaction.

On another note, I never read and sometimes bought more magazines in my entire life, until this franchise came about. Even as a child/teen - I feel like I'm living what my teens should have been but with more embarrassment.

  3. profundity
    1 a : intellectual depth b : something profound or abstruse
2 : the quality or state of being profound or deep
because I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering...
