Is he trying to sound upset? I wasn't sure how to take it. I thought he was devasted because he knows he is going to leave. Or am I misinterpreting it.
This kiss is obviously after the birthday party which is when she gets hurt. He starts to pull away right after and this scene is trying to portray that! Can't you see he's in pain...turmoil? He doesn't WANT to leave the love of his life, but he thinks that's the only way to keep her safe. You have to admit that a lot of thought went into this scene.
On Bella's birthday Edward meets her in the parking lot - he tries to kiss her but pulls away at the last second - the blood lust is to strong. Then Jacob shows up and Edward sees how easy it is for him to be physical with Bella. Birthday Party disaster. Bella asks Edward to kiss her after the party - Again the blood lust. It is all too much for Edward. This makes the kiss in Italy all that more significant - Edward is "over" his blood lust.....
whoa. that was..perfect..finally a scene that is done appropriately :) however, I REALLY wish they would stop showing clips! I have no self control! I feel like I have already seen the entire movie :(
OMG, you got this so right. Edward is so torn that he wants to give Bella what she wants but he knows he has to do the right thing which is leave...those moans, those sounds...are you kidding me? So freakin hot! I have the staggered breathin now!!
It's in his kiss, baby!! That is for sure!! Some of my friends have yet to be swept off their feet by Rob I think because of his everchanging looks and the makeup in the movie but my gosh you can't deny his hawtness when that boy kisses.
I was leaning in toward my computer screen and my heart sputtered when he stopped.
HOW oh HOW am I going to sit through like 1 hour and 45 minutes between that kiss and the kiss in Italy when I'm watching New Moon???????
