Thanks, I love Boys Who Sparkle!
The Killers and Editors!!! That just made my day :)
ReplyDeleteI'm mostly excited to hear new music! I don't know many of these artists besides DCFC and Thom York, but I'm excited to hear them all!
ReplyDeletewhat happened with the used.
ReplyDeletei thought they were suppose to be on the soundtrack
What happened to The Used!1?!! :(
ReplyDeletedude.... wheres the used? otherwise this is an epic track list. lykke li!? loves.
ReplyDeleteyou know... muse was a late addition werent they? like they just mentioned being asked about it at the vmas and then i just read today about them reworking that song for the soundtrack. who did the used piss off to be dumped for muse? or did their song just suck that bad?
ReplyDeleteWill be interested to hear the soundtrack and where the songs go in the movie!! Have only heard of a few of the artist, but always love getting to know new artist- I live such a little sheltered life with music- and it's a shame b/c I love to listen to it.
ReplyDeleteAwww...would've been nice if they had that Florence and the Machine -Cosmic Love song. But very awesome otherwise!
ReplyDeleteOK - how old does this make me when the only two bands I recognize are Muse and The Killers?
ReplyDeleteLOL!
@TO Twicat - I don't even know these bands except for Muse and it's because of Twilight hahahaha I feel old...and way out of place! hahaha
ReplyDeleteThis soundtrack sounds soooo amazing!
ReplyDeleteDeath Cab - love!
Killers - awesome live
Muse - epic win (even better live!)
Bon Iver, Grizzly Bear, Editors and everyone else - I hope you get more air play!
SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
ReplyDelete- Lorabell
You can hear the Thom Yorke song on pitchfork.com I think it's one of their top stories. If you know who Banksy is the video is pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteIsmarie....me too. Super Massive Blackhole is the first and only song of theirs I know.
ReplyDeleteLOL!
Street cred. Major street cred. No offense to anyone *wink* but thank goodness there is no Linkin' Park or Blue October. I have a feeling the Used were maybe bumped or, worse, self-promoting.
ReplyDeletemaybe the Used song will be like Radiohead's song last year..it wasnt on the soundtrack but it was in the ending credits for the movie...
ReplyDeleteEditors *hands clapping*
ReplyDeletedoes anyone know if ANY of these songs are out already!? or maybe there's a way to listen to them (obviously not the death cab song lol) but any of the other ones? please let me know! otherwise, these artists sound amazing! i'm interested to see where they put the songs though bc the songs from Twilight didn't really have much to do with the story itself, these titles sound great :D
ReplyDeleteOMG!!!
ReplyDeleteThe Killers, I'm sooo happy ^^
I can't wait to buy it :)
Ismarie - ditto that. So I'm sure this soundtrack will grow on me like the Twilight one did after I watch it twenty times.
ReplyDeleteAnd YAY for the LA times pictures. LOVE!
@Ismarie Same as me! Muse is the only one I know, and I only know Muse because of Supermassive Black Hole!!
ReplyDeletethey should've put Seawolf's song titled "You're a Wolf"
ReplyDeleteI'm a little disappointed. Where is The Used and Coldplay. There my favourite bands and its sad to see their not on the soundtrack. I dont know any of those bands, apart from the Killers
ReplyDeleteYay I love Chris, awesome awesome bands!!
ReplyDeleteI think Muse realizes if it wern't for Stephanie and the fandom they wouldn't be as popular as they are now. I've always loved Thome York...he's a frakin genius, so thats a give in to add him to the soundtrack. But the Killers are a stellar addition! Nice choices.
ReplyDeleteThe house of Hogan scarpe
ReplyDeleteis renowned for its casual-chic sneakers for him along with her, it is advisable to try Hogan scarpe uomo
, it's best to choose hogan donna
and also try it out, stripy heels here but Hogan scarpe donna
which I’m into preoccupation this summer season time.
