UPDATE: According to Spunk Ransom, you can sign up to Fandango for alerts on when New Moon tickets go on sale in your area!
Thanks, Coral!
Update: Looks like they're also for sale in some theaters in Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Utah, Minnesota, Montana, Florida, Colorado & North Carolina too, and probably some other states already! The list keeps growing and growing. woo hoo.
THR reports the following:
Carmike Cinemas is offering tickets to midnight Nov. 19 performances of "New Moon" at select theaters through Fandango. The Columbus, Ga.-based exhibitor -- which operates 247 theaters in small and midsize markets nationwide -- will offer "New Moon" tickets at 63 theaters listed on the online ticketer's Web site.

ReplyDeletei saw Twilight at midnight and there were tons of girls screaming evrytime Rob came on the screen and I couldnt hear squat so Im going a few days later so I can hear the movie I paid for
Confessor - I am in Highlands Ranch!! :)
ReplyDelete@kristinMMC
ReplyDeletethats what im afraid of. i love robert and all that but i want to be able to hear the movie :\
x
@KristinMMC and twilightislife:
ReplyDeleteTotally, that's what I'm worried about too. I may revise my plans to go at midnight then, if that's even available in the UK. Oh I hate that so much when people ruin the film. When I watch it for the first time I want to take everything in so I'll probably wait and go in the middle of the day a few days after it comes out. Don't get me wrong, Rob is beautiful but Stephenie Meyer is the real goddess and I'd like to appreciate her work in writing the story by listening to it rather than screaming. :p x x
@anon- well howdy neighbor!!!
ReplyDeletehere are some more cites listed as having midnight showings... although I will say that some of them list it as Thursday 12:01am and some list it as Friday 12:01AM... I am assuming they both mean the first midnight showing.

Des Moines, IA
Johnston, IA
Chubbuck, ID

i'm in oz, and my cinema has released buy-now ticket for the midnight screening on thurs nov 19 at 12:01, and if you want to arrive at 9:30pm, they are showing twilight on the big screen as a prelude!!!
ReplyDeleteConfessor - fun to have a fellow Twi Fan so close! how are you finding out about these? When I try to look up in our area on Fandango, it just says it's not until Nov 20th. I can't even tell what theaters, etc.
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping it's playing at the Landmark in Greenwood Village. I love that theater! Have you been?
@Rales That's amazing I'd love it if my cinema did that :) x
ReplyDeleteyay!!! Tickets bought for 12:01 in Delaware!
ReplyDelete@anon... I used the Carmike Cimemas Website... it was a LOT easier than fandango. I had to get back to work after I got to Montana.. LOL
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to that theatre. I think my friend and I are playing to go to Harkins @ Northfield Stapleton. They have the biggest screen and I like how they actually raise the curtain if you go opening night. NOT looking forward to standing in line for that though.
I checked out that new theater on Santa Fe and 285 last weekend to see Inglorious Basterds (really good, btw) and that theater SUCKS. Do not recommend going there, ever.
this is not fair...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteNEW MOON IS NOT OUT HERE FOR AGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGESSSS!!!!!
UGGH...
sorry sooooooooooo ticked off at the min..........
Confessor - Thanks for the tup about the Carmike theater site! I haven't been to Harkins, it's a bit far for me. Landmark is awesome - it's $12 but it includes all you want of soda and popcorn, it's a really nice intimate smaller theater (never would see kids there). They also have a full bar, appetizers, and a concessions that has things like dark chocolate - more adult type food. It's super fun! :)
ReplyDeleteRales - that is AWESOME! I hope a theater here will do something like that! Or maybe I'll have a get together at my house beforehand to watch it!
ireland sucks!....
ReplyDeleteim sooooooooooo jealous of all yous
does anyone know when the tickets will go on salke in canada, specifically in langley, b.c., for the Collossus theater......sooooooooo cant wait. p.s. this site rocks the shit, cant start my day without checking it out, gawd, im such an addict :)thanks for giving me my daily dise of crack...lol
ReplyDeleteOk so I'm like feaking out now. Does anyone know if their selling out anywhere, I'm so afraid that I'm not gonna find out that tickets in my state (Maryland) are gonna go on sale and I'm gonna be too late. Thanks a lot for the info.
ReplyDeleteNice, just bought my tix for a showing in North Dakota! The one time North Dakota comes through for anything, lol.
ReplyDeleteDang it. Not yet in Washington.
ReplyDeleteUTAH! WOOT WOOT!

ReplyDeleteYou know what sucks, is that i'm from Australia - in the ACT - and I cant find where to buy tickets anywhere!! anybody in the same situation as me? A family friend said she bought hers, but I have no idea where though.
ReplyDeleteYay! I actually live just down the street from the theater in Mounds View, MN that already has tickets on sale! This is awesome, cuz nothing good ever happens there!
