New Moon Song Revealed

I'm so proud of the pic choice... red truck ;)

Anya Marinas' song "Satellite Heart" from the New Moon soundtrack has been added to her MySpace - it's no Florence + the Machine but the more I listen, the more I like :)

Thanks TwiExaminer

- Lorabell

Update: Thanks AshleyTWA via TwiFans for the lyrics:

So pretty, so smart
Such a waste of a young heart!
What a pity, what a sham,
What’s the matter with you, man?

Don’t you see it’s wrong, can’t you get it right?
Out of mind and outta sight.
Call on all your girls, don’t forget the boys,
Put a lid on all that noise!

I’m a satellite heart, lost in the dark.
I’m spun out so far, you stop, I start,
But I’ll be true to you.

I hear you’re living out of state,
Running in a whole new scene.
They say i haven’t slept in weeks,
You’re the only thing I see.

I’m a satellite heart, lost in the dark,
I’m spun out so far, you stop, I start,
But I’ll be true to you.

I’m a satellite heart, lost in the dark,
I’m spun out so far, you stop I start.
But I’ll be true to you no matter what you do,
Yeah I’ll be true to you.

  8. Anya Marina is a very talented girl, she has great songs, and this one is very sweet! I really like it!

If you have time, search for her song called 'Move You' it was on the list of Bella's music in the Twilight Myspace, that's how I met Anya Marina :) it's a great song and it's really related to the story from Twilight ^^

  9. Am I the only one who looked at the words? How in the world can you make them fit any part of New Moon. C'mon people...

  10. I think this actually fits great. Reminds me of One of my favorite quotes in new mooon:
"I was like a lost mooon--my planet destroyed in some cataclysmic disaster movie scenario of desolation--that continued, nevertheless, to circle in a tight little orbit around the empty space left behind, ignoring the laws of gravity" LOVE!!!

Its a weird song, but i like weird. kind of reminds me also of a darker Laura Marling.

  11. I really enjoy Anya Marina and I was pleasantly surprised to see she made it to the New Moon soundtrack, being under Alex Patsava's wing and all. I like the song, I think it will be nice in the background and add a touch of melancholy to the already pretty dramatic movie. :)

@ Anon: Ugh, you just can't make everyone happy! I think it fits NM perfectly! I thought the song was beautiful and remember, they're not using the WHOLE song for the movie just a part of it.
