Jacksper graduates? Oh HALE... I don't know :/

This is meant to be Jasper but I'm not sure...

Now, I know Jacksper was on set pre-graduation scene... but I don't remember him graduating in Eclipse.

Wasn't he meant to be one of the "older" Cullens - since Jasper is meant to be Rosealie's twin, and she's already away at college with Emmett...?

I know they kinda of bypassed that whole deal in Twilight but I'm sure that only Alice and Edward graduted the same year as Bella.

Just sayin' ;)

  1. I agree that jasper had already graduated in eclipse with Rosalie and Emmett the yr before. ALthough they might chop it around a little to make the story fit. not sure why on this occasion though? Having said that new pics of Jackson show him with shorter hair, so this pic may not be him at all.

In Twilight the movie Angela's love interest Ben was never introduced.... and in Elipse Eric is playing her love interest (saw this in an interview with Justin). i suppose it just fits better?

  2. In the books Jasper graduates with Rosalie and Emmett but in the movies he is Alice's age. He goes on the field trip with them in the movies which shows he is Alice/Edward/Bella's age. So they are just keeping the continuity in the movies I think. Small change.

  3. speaking of continuity in the book Twilight anyone noticed that Emmett and Edward share a class together even though they are in diferent school years. it's the chapter where they have the conversation that cons ben into realising that that Angela likes him.

i know I really should get out more ;op

  5. Yeah Poppy i know what ur talkling about {Thats Midnight Sun} but its based on the same year in school as Twilight...i guess Emmett was just in a lower level Spanish class?!It happens lol
I think Justin will be cute as the love interest..we can ONLY wish that they stuck more to the books but i bet itll come off sweet in the movie

  6. HAHAHA you are right Poppy, Spanish must not be Emmett's strength in school.

  7. Oops yeah Bonnie, of course it was Midnight Sun... I like to read them both together.. doesn't everyone do that? :oP

Yeah I also think that Justin will do a great job as Angela's love interest... less complicated that way...

I suppose if they stuck to the books the movies would be way longer.... I wish :o)

  8. yeah but the movies are messed up,
remember in twilight when they go on the field trip? it's Alice, jasper & Edward...so they're making him be in the same grade as them

  9. I would love for the movies to be more like the books but I understand the need to change the story a bit. As long as it runs parallel with the book and the story flows somewhat the same I'm a happy camper.

And anything that brings more screen time for the beautiful Jackson makes me giddy with joy.

  10. it could always just be an extra in this shot although i'll admit it does look a lot like jackson.

also, does anyone know for sure if stephenie is or is not writing midnight sun still?

  11. They made Jasper to be same age than Alice and Edward in the movies. But yes, he did not graduate in the books. Anyway, i don't care that means more JASPER! YAYY :D

  12. These days in High School you have classes with all ages of kids. At least in the large 1,000. kid schools. Kids are at different points in their studies at different ages. That still doesn't explain Jasper who is supposed to be graduated already graduating with Bella, Edward and Alice. If they can switch this kind of stuff around then why didn't they ditch the rape scene which no one wants to sit through or at least just have Rosalie recount it briefly? I really don't care to sit through a major production rape.

  13. I don't think it looks like Jasper at all. It could be Edward. It is just really blurry. And just because they were all on a field trip together doesn't meant they were all in the same grade. I know of classes where there are different grades all together. IMO

  14. On the post for Emmett and Edward being in the same Spanish class, wasn't Edward in the advanced classes?? So that may put him ahead with Emmett. He was more studious, right??? Emmett had other EXTRACURRICULAR activities, (Rosalie)....LOL

  15. Ever think that might be Edward, not Jasper?

  16. i thinks it's edward. from far the yellow cap kind of bleeds into the his hair making it look blondish.

  17. that seriously do not look like Edward. at all.

  18. Twins! Well that explains why Jasper has the same last name as Rosalie. I could never figure out why he did. Maybe I missed it in the books, even though I've read them more than once.

  19. Maybe Jackson was just goofing off with the cap and gowns. Who know if he was actually filming in them.

  20. I think that's Edward, too. Something about the posture.

  21. Doesn't look like jasper? Maybe Eddie or using Jackson as an extra too.

  22. That is Robert not Jackson :D The posture says it all :D

  24. Has anyone notice that Tyler is not in NM neither Eclipse??? What happen with that guy?

  25. I can't tell who that is, are you sure that is Jasper? I think it is Edward..

  26. It's has to be Edward, because his hair is short under the cap, and Jasper's hair is longer.

  27. In the movie Jasper is in their science class-because he goes on the excursion with them

  28. Thats Edward. No question in my mind.

  29. I'm sorry but I'm sick of people being OK with the fact that the first book and the first movie are so off from each other (and hopefully it stopped there). I've been totally spoiled by the Harry Potter books vs. movies. A "great" adaptation of a phenomenal book should be where the movie reminds you of details that you'd forgotten about in the books. It can and has been done extremely well before - I hold the Twilight saga directors to no less of a standard. There - ranting over.

  30. I hope they have Mike Newton's hair mimic Edwards, like he tried in the book. lol It's the little things that'll win us over too. =)
