HGE's Interview with Wyck Godfrey: Bring out the Kleenex for New Moon! :-) shares a great interview with Wyck Godfrey, Twilight & New Moon Producer, that was conducted during the springtime. Here is a quick excerpt, where Wyck talks about how well KStew knows the character of Bella:
"Kristen is so amazingly on it, in terms of what Bella would say, and what she would do. Like we will be in a scene, and she will be like, “No, Bella wouldn’t do that, she would do this.” And your like, she’s right! She’s got it. She’s so amazing in this film. I mean, the levels that she lets herself go to, in terms of being torn apart. We were talking to Jillian and Aaron from the studio, and they’re all watching the dailies, like, “We are going to have to hand out boxes of Kleenex!” Like every time you watch a scene, you’re like, that was even more emotional than the last scene! I mean you’ve got Edward breaking up with Bella, and you’ve got Jacob in the rain when she shows up and he hasn’t returned her calls, it’s the most heartbreaking scene, it’s amazing. Then, the final scene of the movie, we shot her saying goodbye to Jacob, it’s just great."
Get ready to *sob*. :-) Read the rest here.

as much as i dislike the winter, i can not wait for november to come!!!

  2. The first time I'll watch it I'm planning on seeing it by myself so there's no interruptions and I can really concentrate. And so I can cry and not care about my friends looking at me. Then the second time I'll go see it, I'll bring everyone I know. Hahahha (x

  3. The last scene in movie should be Bella with Edward...I'm hating this movie already.

  4. Awesome I'm stoked that folks are saying she is really going bring the emotions and do it well.

I didn't want to be pouting during the movie because I wasn't feeling it. I'm getting super excited.

  5. i'm getting so excited too! now...when / how shall i go see it?

last time, there was lots of squeeing from the audience because i ended up seeing a saturday 11 am show. and should i take my husband? i will have to contain my excitement if i do. my fave experience watching twilight was 1) by myself 2) during the workday when the theater only had 10 people in it. hehe

  6. I not the least bit surprised that Kristen is going to be amazing, she is a terrific actress and the success of this move really rides on whether she can pull off the emotional roller coaster Bella is on.
This must have been a extremely difficult movie for her!
    Way to go Kristen!!!!!!

  7. The 1st New Moon trailer i starting crying when Edward said goodbye to Bella.I ready and prepared for New Moon.I'm taking a bov of kleenex , my asthma inhelars when i see a shirtless scene , well the scenes i feel like i can't breathe too well.

I watched Twilight 96 times already(ppl around me say that my mind will be screwed up from watching Twilight and vampires because they're Twilight haters). And when New Moon comes out to theather my goal is to go watch 30 times or over 30 times.
    can't wait for november 21!Eeep!

  8. Like, I'm going to like, bring like, at least 100 like tissues with me when I like see this movie in November!!!

(OMG, is Wyck an 11-year old girl?? You would think a producer would have a more decent command of language . . . like, y'know?)

    But seriously . . . CAN.NOT.WAIT.

Ok, I've only read NM once (am getting ready to start it again . . . I'm trying to wait until closer to November but know I'm not gonna make it, ha!)

What is the last scene in the book and also, when does Bella 'say goodbye' to Jacob?

I'm remembering in Eclipse, the heartwrenching scene after the fight when Jacob's hurt but healing and she goes to say goodbye to him at his house, and she tells him "I love you" as she's leaving and his response is, "Love you more," - - but can someone remind me about how NM (the book) ends and what scene from NM they would've filmed where Bella says goodbye to Jake then? Thanks!
