Five Reasons Rob Men Love KStew ;)

Thanks AshleyTWA and Team Twilight for this poll on why men love KStew - I could not agree more but *ahem* what about the girls who heart KStew?!

Women love Robert Pattinson, Robert Pattinson loves Kristen Stewart. Just what is her secret of attraction? YourTango's Celebrity Love polled a sample of men (married and single, American and English) to pin down the five traits they love most about the Twilight babe for whom legions of young Hollywood males are pining.

She's not glamorous. While Kristen might be considered beautiful by universal standards, she's not hot in the bombshell, high-maintenance, stereotypical Tinseltown way. One guy watched a clip of her, shrugged, and said, "She's real." The lesson? Guys like girls who are genuine. That's What He Said: The Truth About Make-up: A Guy's Take

She's cool. While Kristen has been catching some flack for her zany Joan Jett Runaways look, she's still catching guys' attention. It takes a self-assured woman to rock a bomber and Chuck Taylors, but to still come off as feminine? One guy said, "She has her own style...she can call me daddy." (<--- Um... Ew!)

She's smart. In interviews Kristen comes off as articulate and bookish, listening intently to questions and answering thoughtfully with the occasional big (but unpretentious) word thrown in. "She knows what's going on," one poll participant shared, demonstrating our theory that smart girls are hot.

She doesn't need a man. One of the things Robert's been said to like most about Kristen is that she's a great chase. She's rarely given in to his reported advances and refuses to set the record straight on her status with longtime boyfriend Michael Angarano. In a world shaped by Hollywood that praises the perpetually bubbly girl, our guys say the dry, hard-to-read type presents a rare but relished challenge.

  5. I love K-Stew I do & she's a great actress... But I don't know if I agree about the sentence that says "the dry, hard-to-read type presents a rare but relished challenge." compared to the bubbly girls... So does that mean that the bubbly girls are not worth the chase? Is it because they're not hard to read or dry?

  6. I thought it interesting no one claimed they were attracted to her because of her acting abitlities. My husband says she's "as interesting as paint drying and nothing to look at at". I couldn't agree more. She was not a good choice for Bella.

  7. I agree Anon. I have accepted the fact that she is Bella now, but I can't see how people say she's such a "great actress". In fact I think she's quite lucky that so many girls are in love with the character "Bella", and have transfered that lurve to KStutter by proxy.

  8. Love her too. I didn't at first but she's grown on me. She's kinda girl next door but with her own twist onon it. She seems awkward at times but that's only because she's uncomfortable around a big crowd or being in the spot light still(i.e. MTV movie awards) Her and Rob are the same like that, it's cute.

  10. By this level of scrutiny and attention it's normal that she'll have lovers and haters. I like her. I really liked Adventureland. The only thing that makes me feel sorry for her is that now starring in such a huge franchise, where her face is everywhere,it will take back that freshness when you look at her in future projects.

But really how can you call her awkward comparing to other wierdos in Hollywood is beyond me. If she would be picture-perfect it would get boring,at least she's amusing.
The one thing that endears me the most about KStew is the respect that she shows for her cast and directors. She speaks of them in superlatives.Never takes the credit for anything, just focuses on her performance.

  11. She is impersonal and frigid. That's how we can call her "awkward". Maybe there are "weirder" personalities in Hollywood, but at least they are warm and personable. Makes them seem more appreciative of their lucky lot in life. To be impersonal during interviews is to be impersonal to your FANS. Ergo she comes off ungrateful, cold, bitchy, yadda.
