Top Ten New Moon Facts Revealed at Comic-Con

Here's are my two faves:

1. Summit Entertainment knows its audience, evidenced by the two scenes they brought to Comic-Con. Whether you're Team Edward or Team Jacob, there was a shirtless scene for you. Who wanted to see the birthday party scene or the cliff diving scene, when they could get their first peek at Jacob Black hopping valiantly off a bike to strip naked to tend to an almost-drooling Bella? Or watch as Bella raced across Volterra in vain as Edward opened his shirt, stepping into the sunlight? It was such an amazing sight, Bella started running in slow motion. (Click above for more celeb pics from Comic-Con; full scene descriptions here!)

And...

4. Kristen Stewart knows that Bella is a head case in New Moon. Critics who thought Bella was unhealthily dependent on Edward in the first Twilight film, or even that his behavior was borderline stalker-ish, will likely seize on her obvious psychological issues in the sequel. When those criticisms come, Stewart's fully prepared. "This is a severely emotional movie," she told journalists. "That's the one big difference. This movie is not about discovery or falling in love, which is sort of just an intense emotion, but this is low and there high points for her, too. She's a manic depressive, basically."

  1. I love their new moon facts. I love the Weitz is keeping true to the book. That was something I really hated in Twilight. There were a couple of lines from the book, but most of it was just dialogue pushed in there.

  2. I think the actors have really zoned in on their characters- That's the great thing about a series/sequals if they have any skill as actors at all they can really become the characters and give us the viewers a great "reality" into the stories. I can't wait to see how it all turns out!!

  3. Hi,

watch this video and learn what kind of special chemistry there is building up between our favourite actors - above all between the girlies Kristen and Ashley and our so much beloved and wonderful Robert - oh - he is very nervous, he drinks several times to gain time, but he can't concentrate because the others are whispering and I think it is his sophisticated and elaborated talk that makes them edgy and he just would like to finish his sentence about the love that Edward... and then he says it, finally it is there - if he should explain their chemistry, it is nothing but p u r e .... a n i m o s i t y!!!!

  4. I don't agree with the fact that Bella is "Manic-depressive"- come on- She falls in love. That is a natural high! He leaves her- she is devasted. How many of us have been through that before. We really don't get enough description of her while Edward is gone (before Jacob). I know I would be a "zombie" if the love of my life left me. Manic-depression is very serious and does not coniside with relationships it comes and goes as it pleases.

  5. I read some of the comments at the bottom of Rotten Tomatos and was surprised at the hostility alot of guys have toward Twilighters. What the hell? If these dorks had any brains, intead of sporting, Twilit ruined Comic Con t-shirts, they'd shmooz up to the over hormonal females and take advantage. Sheesh, these guys have no clue, do they.

  6. GB,

Hi. I've seen that video and loved it. Laughed my ass off. All their other interviews are kind of painful to watch. But Kristen is egging on Rob and he gives up being teased and spits out, SHUT UP! It's a riot!!! I love how easily flustered Rob gets. LOL!
