I want Rachelle!!!! haha Anyway I will see Eclipse no matter what...the only way I will be disappointed is that they skip the proposal scene and if they don't make Breaking Dawn...that will break my hearth!!!
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree she'd be much better suited for Tanya. She just seems to delicate for Victoria. And I hope they are going to volumize her hair because Rachelle's curls were so Victoria!
ReplyDeleteShe's also not as tall or thick as Rachelle. Not that Rachelle is a plus sizer like me...but she had this dominating presence. BDH is gonna have to bring it with the intensity to make up for her mini-me stature.

I will Play nicely just cuz you(Lorabell)said so.Maybe as time pass by i might welcome Bryce with arms wide open and same too wwith the director of Eclispe whose name i have forgotten.I'm still bumped all about poor Rachelle and what Summimt decide.It will take sometime to get over it and get use to Bryce playing the roll of 'Victoria' , and the Eclispe director.I'm not too happy but for awhile i will play nicely until i can aceept it.Aceept her and the 'Eclispe' director.

ReplyDeleteOh dear....Summit REALLY needs to get Rachelle back. She is the ONLY Victoria there is, in my opinion! I wish Bryce well(she's lovely) but she is in no way,shape or form Victoria. Rachelle proved herself time and again, Summit is behaving poorly and needs to fix what they CLEARLY screwed up.

ReplyDeleteI think I read somewhere that she has an actual sun allergy. Which would be pretty cool, but I could just be imagining things, which I tend to do frequently. I think she'll do an awesome job. She has a weird otherworldly look that can come across as really creepy, yet innocent. I am very curious to see how she pulls it off.
I have been a BDH fan since I first saw her in The Village. She's a brilliant actress! I just hate what Rachelle (& Bryce) are having to go through right now. I can't imagine what Summitt is thinking, but I hope Rachelle's career takes off in a huge way! If just to spit in whomever's decision this was.
ReplyDeletefirst off, looooooove Evan Rachel Wood..Across the Universe is one of my favorite movies..but onto the Victoria mess.. I do agree with what some have said...nothing against her we just love Rachelle as Victoria, but if Bryce is what we are getting then I only hope she can do Victoria justice..i have never seen her movies so I dont know much about her..I will withhold total judgement til after I see Eclipse..I just hope the transition isnt to terrible..and I still think Summit sucks a big one for f'ing with the saga.. :( There I said it, trying to stay positive and hope for the freakin best Eclipse that can be :)
ReplyDeleteI think she's going to be great RAchelle made her decisions so sometimes you have to pay the price..loved her as Victoria but Im not going to hate or Bryce just b/c SHE got the role..I mean that's just kinda low I think... and also just b/c her daddy is Ron Howard does not mean he paid for her to get this role... Im sure she EARNED it and that as well it a little low
ReplyDeleteI think she looks awesome and is more of the Victoria that I pictured in the book... because I'm not going to lie, but when I heard that Rachelle was Victoria in Twilight my reaction was more of a "wtf?! she doesn't have firery red hair!!"

I have nothing against BDH. But I have a HUGE problem with SUMMIT and the way they handled this. I'm not buying the whole scheduling conflict story. Eclipse is Victoria's story arc and her biggest role in the series. The studio wanted a bigger name ans screwed over a lesser know actress to do that. Treating people like this is not ok. Rachelle made sure her role in the ther movie did not interfer with the Eclipse shooting schedule, then Summit at the last minute changed the schedule and expected her to accomidate them after she signed a contract to do the other movie. She was well within her contract with Summit. Do the research, and you'll find all this out. I don't blame Bryce for jumping at the chance for a juicy role, I blame the studio for their backhanded attempt to yet score another well known actor for the series. The only way I'm gonna be "OK" with this is if SUMMIT comes out and admits their mistake, appologizes to Rachelle and Pays her her full salary for Eclipse. I hope their paying Bryce a pretty penny too, I'm sure she had know idea what position these money hungry hipocrates put her in.

Sure I'll play nice...just wish my daddy had the power to kick people to the curb so I could get a role in a big movie! Scummit has planned this for a long time othewise Bryce would not have been immediately available to take a role that starts in two weeks. They actually allowed Rachelle to represent at Comic Con and then they drop this bomb on her two days later. SHAME! I'm not seeing New Moon, Eclipse or BD! Scummit's not getting any more money from me!

From what's been reported, she is sueing, and has a good case. This is why we're not hearing form either side anymore. She deserves her full salary for Eclipse and a PUBLIC APOLOGY from SUMMIT! I just wish they would sit back and think about their mistakes on how they handled the situation and do right thing. I would love to see Rachelle in Eclipse. But I don't think thats going to happen. Summit Signed Bryce and they can't break that contract even though they broke Rachelles.
ReplyDeleteI'm so upset over this whole thing. I can't believe Summit would do this to the loyal fans who have made them all of this money. They weren't even a speck on the wall before Twilight. First Catherine made them all that money and they dumped her and now Rachelle. Not right at all. I will see New Moon because Rachelle is in it. Eclipse, not so much. This was a great ensemble cast and now Summit has screwed one of the family over and the fans are NOT happy and I'm NOT happy about it. Summit sucks.

ReplyDeleteI think that its usually a mistake to replace actors in "sequels" - it is a distraction. Part of the appeal of the vampires in this movie is that they are all gorgeous, strong and fierce, but BDH is NOT any of those. She'd be great for a more docile role. But not Victoria. No way. They're making a mistake.

ReplyDeleteAs far as Tanya goes,Evan Rachel Wood would not be a bad choice, although I always pictured her as Rosalie (does Nikki have other commitments too?). I think Tanya should be played by a slightly older actress. Someone closer in age to Bryce Dallas Howard and definitely femme fatale material.
Wow, she's pale enough to be a vampire. I feel for this girl. She's probablly excited to enter the Twilight arena and everyones howling about Rachelle. Personally, Im not so fussed about her departure. Maybe I'll feel worse after seeing New Moon, not sure. We'll see.
ReplyDeleteI think Cate Blanchett would be a great Tanya, true she's older, but I also think its an older role. Besides, she's freaking gorgous. I think Evan Rachel Wood could be a great Irina. They have to give BDH long hair for the movie right? She needs some umph to it!
ReplyDeleteCome on people so fast you get over it and start suggestin other person for the part of victoria it is rachelle role and that it there is no point of disscusion and shame on summit for recreating the story of twilight and their characters every time tehy want to save a few bucks come on people this people is getting you money all you have to give them back is to respect their role first they start with taylor but the twi-hards fight and won, then with solomon but we didn't won, this is not a thing that fans have to gave up to and leave it to people who is just calculating the monetary benefict their going to gain but the meaning of the stpry they are giving it, every movie that have a succes in a saga is because they have the same actors in all of their movies, can you really imagine or get to belive a story that continues the first to movies with one actor and then in the third there is other person... it wouldn't be just confussing and just not beliveable or is just for me that it's not happening support the essence of the story and movie of twilight
