Catherine Hardwicke Talks About Life After Twilight

Reuters has a quick interview with Catherine Hardwicke, where she talks about her projects and Twilight:

Q: How have things changed for you since "Twilight"?

A: "Right now I can say in a meeting: 'Well on 'Twilight' this is how we did it and this is how we made it work.' And people go, 'Oh wow, that movie made money.' They listen to me a little bit more than before."

  1. >_< Hello, Earth to Catherine. The movie made money because it was based off of a wonderful book and stars the unicorn inducing ROBERT PATTINSON.

To the people who are meeting with Catherine: Cast Rob as a [preferably] shirtless wanderer who has a fetish for water and rake in the dough!

  3. Let's be honest with Twilight already having a strong base for the books, the movie would have been a success no matter what director they chose. So sorry to bust your bubble Catherine!

    BTW You are hi-larious SharonMacross!
But does all this unicorn stuff mean? I'm lost. I've seen it other places as well.

  4. Catherine did go a great job though. Let's remember that she went to the matt in an effort to keep the film as close to the books as possible. More often then not the movie takes liberties and turns with the story.

  5. Twilight could have been SO MUCH BETTER! She butchered it, her and whoever adapted the screenplay, horrible. I weep for what Twilight could have been.
