Breaking Dawn May Start Production Right After Eclipse

e!Online shares details on Breaking Dawn from Billy Burke and Ashley Greene:

"All I know is that, as of now, I only signed on to do three," B.B. told us. Coyly played Billy. Maybe he's just trying to keep all Twi dirt on the down-low, or it could be that the secondary castmembers haven't started negotiations. Rob and Kristen Stewart are locked in (after so much drama you have no idea—but you're not interested in that, right?), so that's all that matters.

But Breaking Dawn isn't exactly as far away as you all would think.

"We're going to start right after Eclipse," says Ash.

That doesn't come as surprise to us, as we exclusively told you how Summit would be pumping out this franchise as fast as possible to avoid any "bumps" in the road.

So will we see any repeat directors for the fourth film?

"I don't think so," says Ms. Greene. "[Eclipse director] David [Slade] and [New Moon director] Chris [Weitz] will both be busy in postproduction, and Catherine [Hardwicke] will be doing Hamlet."

Thanks, Coral!

  1. So fanging cool! The pic of Edward and Bella is kind of scary , but funny in a way.I hope that Edward doesn't have long hair in Breaking Dawn like in the pic.I'm glad Summit is working fast , so there's no "bummps" in the roads.*SO HAPPPY , EXICTED , AND JUMPING OUT OF EXICEMENT*

  2. I really, really wonder how they are gonna make Renesmee... I hope it won't be a complete failure :S

  3. Breaking Dawn is probably the most tricky to adapt into film for many reasons we all know. But I'll be really disappointed if they do a "fade to black" scenario during the honeymoon. At least give us something that the book was lacking!

  4. Wow that pic is Frightening to say the least LOL!
I'm excited to see our Bella (Kristen) all 'vamped' up ;) The Renesmee thing will be difficult, it'll be interesting to see what they do with that. I doubt that the birthing scene will be graphic as they'll not want an R rated movie. Some of the best parts of the whole Twilight story are in there, while some, not so much. They're dishing these Twilight movies out like soup at a soup kitchen!

  7. I'm a bit skeptical about this article. I don't really take to much stock in what Ted C. has to say. I mean, what does that mean when he says there was drama getting Rob and Kristen locked in. BS in my opinion.

  8. I think they have to make it, since they are making the first three, but HOLY DISASTER. There's no way to film that without almost an entire rewriting of the book!! And I hope MR doesn't get to write it!!!

  9. Ahh... Ted Casablanca, huh? My new personal bff? I assure you that guy suffers from glaucoma at least, if not worse.
Anyway, would be great to have all the sequels in the theatres ASAP. Can't wait... ;-)

  10. I'm looking forward to see this movie! I think is the most crucial!!! I know is complicated and the script needs a lot of work but it would be a dissapointment if they don't finish the whole saga...We can't stay at Eclipse, is not the end!!!! I think they're trying to keep this secretly until maybe next year when they get the film Eclipse and see the support of us twilight fan! Happy 4th of July to you all!

  11. I'm intensely interested as to how the director will portray everthing from the wedding, to the honeymoon, to the birth. Im especially interested in the Denali clan and extended freinds. I hope to God Melissa Rosenburg doesnt tweak the story too much.

  13. How will Chris Weitz be in post-production??

If BD films right after Eclipse, and Eclipse ends filming around, what, October 30 . . . shouldn't NM (which is released Nov. 20) be DONE by then???
