RPattz Beats Out Brad Pitt to Top Celebrity Heat Index (a.k.a. Slow TwiCrack Day)

USA Today reports that this week, Rob has beaten Brad for the leading position in its Celebrity Heat Index:
After a steady rise, the 22-year-old Twilight star has hit No. 1 on USA TODAY's Celebrity Heat Index, which measures media exposure. Pattinson is only half of the centerpiece cover image on the current issue of OK! and made No. 1 only on PopSugar.com's list of top stories, but he makes enough appearances in other outlets (TV, online and print) to put him ahead of the pack for the first time.

Pattinson was No. 3 on the index for April, and USA TODAY noted that his star was on the rise as photos from the set of the Twilight sequel, New Moon, began circulating.

And if paparazzi shots weren't enough, Entertainment Tonight aired official behind-the-scenes video from the set on TV and online.
Question: Do people outside of the Twilight universe know who Robert Pattinson is yet? I'm so TwiWarped that I have no idea. We are taking over the world! Muhahaha.

P.S. I'm wayyyy annoyed because Mr. TCA took my copy of the Rob GQ into the bathroom to read while he sat on the crapper. Hmph.

  1. Who cares if they know!! The less people who know who he is, the more of him to be shared around amongst us! lol.. P.s.. TwiWarped is sooo the best way to be!! he he

  2. If they don't know who he is, they sure should soon enough-- with all the PR. I alone have told a few hundred people about him:)) And that I would be going to jail if I lived out some of my thoughts if I was to ever meet him!!:) Then again-- He's of legal age! and getting even older next week. Maybe he would want to do the show Cougar with me:))

  3. I really don't want them to know him. I mean, I want to keep him unknown and humble which is what I love about him. He gets all "brad pitt" and I think I won't love him as much. I can't stand Brad Pitt and if Rob were to ever loose his humbleness...which I think is inevitable now...well...it'd just be bad.

I really can't stand Brad Pitt. One word. Angelina. GAG.

Plus if he's as big a star as Brad, I'll never get close enough to him to talk to him EVER.

  4. I think he has much more charisma than Brad Pitt, who might as well be Mr. Jolie!

  5. i'm glad rob's beating brad pitt, brad's like santa clause gone wrong, compared to him. at least rob's nice &funny. Has it ever occured to Brad that maybe his "glory days" of being a hearthrob are over? He's like in his forty's,a little too old in my mind.

  7. I'm not sure non twi-hards know who the poor guy is, lol. ML was calling him Pat Robertson last night. I was thinking, the televangelist? You really think I'm swooning over that guy? Really? I'm offended! LOL!

  8. I wonder if Rob will lose him humbleness?? It's hard to imagine since he is so earnest and unassuming. However, he does have so much more exposure coming up with the rest of the saga plus the other movies he is doing. I have to think he is somewhat OK with it - otherwise he would just stop doing movies after Twilight stuff....? (he's contracturally obligated through Eclipse as far as I know) As much as it seems that he is pretty reclusive, etc., if this stuff really bothered him immensely, wouldn't he just quit and go make music quietly in little pubs in the UK?

I'm not judging him at all. I love him and think he is a modern day renaissance man - and INCREDIBLY talented (and hot).

Oh, and Brad Pitt.... sort of yucky now, I think.

  10. I threw a fit when my husband even opened the cover of my GQ...he looked at me like I was insane, but was smart enough to put it down. It's now hidden.

@Twi - The whole time I was reading this I was COMPLETELY distracted by the beauty of Mr. Robertson & his beanie! Sorry for that. I'm lovin' the slow day, for sure.

  14. HAHAHAHAHA! Mr TCA should know better then that! I love this blog! It's so down to earth.

With Robs beautiful face on the cover of anything, wether it be a rag magazine or a box of wheaties, it will sell!

As for Brad Pitt...meh, he never appealed much to me. His hot-o-meter never lifted off for me...NOT LIKE ROB!
