As much as it pains me to take the poster down, looks like the Washington Post leaked the goods early and has since removed the pic. Not meant for our eyes yet! :-)
yes it is! some newspaper leaked it a few hours ago....its all over twitter...and google...and everywhere else. They really messed up the big reveal....everyone's pretty upset with the webhosts who are willingly posting the poster on their websites because of the copywrite law...

I cant believe I fricken missed it! GRRR! Hey, Im 31 OCD, theres NO shame in lovin us some hunky vampires and werewolves. Every other stinking movie is geared toward men, boobs, blondes and more boobs. So dont feel bad. LOL!
I saw it just a minute ago and it was perfect except the look on bella's face edward looks much more beautiful in twilight's poster edvard looked scary this one is better
Although I never object to any pics of Edward, I have to say I have mixed feelings about the poster. It doesn't capture the "essence" of New Moon. I do like how Bella is in Jacobs arms instead of Edwards and like how Edward has his back to them-it gets the point across that Bella is with Jacob and not Edward but I don't like that none of the wolf pack or any other essential charachter is featured. It's not heartbreaking, mysterious, or "meaningful" enough to provoke an emotional response from me-I was hoping the message would come out loud in clear in this poster, but sadly if fails to deliver. I wish they would've incorporated the Volturi at least or something that remotely has to do with the book. I hope they make more posters and don't stick with this one as the official poster. Summit needs to incorporate some of the elements that made our guts wrench in New Moon to stimulate a more emotional reaction (more melancholy). Either way, still grateful that we got any picture at all and I'd rather look at this than nothing at all :)

With that said, the poster is good. We should actually be thankful that we are getting one this early. Jacob looks really good and Edward looks a lot better than he did in the first Twilight one.
There will be other posters with the wolf pack,Volturi, ect. just like there was with Twilight. But it's a lot to ask of a movie poster to convey all the emotion of an almost 600 page book, or a 2 hour movie. It's just a poster...a tease, if you will.
I can say personally, I have NEVER chosen a movie based on the poster. Previews have a lot more selling power than movie posters do. So the first preview will hold a lot more weight, IMO.
Still it's a nice little bite *no pun* of things to come.
i saw it on another site. and if that's the real poster i am very dissappointed! and why is jacob's hair short in the poster..... i hope it's not the real one.

Everyone on the newmoonmovie website seems to think it is. The Washington Times leaked it early supposedly. But who knows.
