Peter Facinelli Responds to Outpouring of Gratitude from Fort Lewis Families

Lion & Lamb Love has posted Peter Facinelli's MySpace blog response to the many gestures of thanks he's received for the time he spent with soldiers & their families at the Fort Lewis DVD signing:
I’d like to say thank you for all of the lovely blogs from Ft. Lewis families and the miltary families across the world. You are the real heroes. What you do, putting your lives at risk, for our safety, makes my job look silly. I would have stayed another 16 hrs to make sure everyone got their DVD signed. It was my small feeble attempt to try to give back for all that you do. I had the honor of meeting General Jacoby while on the base. I was in awe of his presence. I know he will do great things for our Country. I asked him to get our soldiers back safe. He said, “I will. Its my job”. I was inspired by him and all of the families I met that day. And for that I thank you.

God Bless. Be Safe. I pray we end this war, quickly, successfully, and free of any more casualties.

  2. Normally I'd try to find something snarky to say but... damn, this is just really nice and sweet. And just plain awesome.

  3. Sweet! He just really seems like a genuinely super-nice guy (well, except for maybe in that clip you posted the other day where he was all nekkid and saucy...). Great to know it's for reals!

    P.S.
@ Jenny Jerkface - THIS is what you were doing when you were supposed to be getting ready to go to the bridal shower?! No WONDER you were late - LOL! You are SO busted...

  5. I was only there for almost 9 hours but I knew when I left he had a few more hours to go. Seriously - his attitude toward the whole thing was just AMAZING. Laughing, talking with people in line...you could tell he really meant it when he said he didn't mind. I felt bad for him, but he's won me over! He's the definition of "heart of gold".

  6. I used to work at this store. And one of my friends still works there, she said he was the nicest guy ever. And the best celebrity to come to the store. Wow i cant believe he actually was there for 16 whole hours. I used to work there, so i know some people that come in that store are obnoxious , he must of been real patient.
