Peter Facinelli is pro-Dakota Fanning for New Moon

Pop-eater has just posted an exclusive interview with Peter Facinelli, where he talks about Dakota, Catherine Hardwicke, & what he's looking forward to in New Moon. Here are a couple of cool excerpts:

"Even though actor Peter Facinelli, who plays Dr. Carlisle Cullen in 'Twilight,' admits he hasn't been keeping up with all the 'New Moon' rumors, he is excited to hear that Dakota Fanning might be joining the cast as vampire Jane. "She is a phenomenal actress... [The role of Jane] would be great for her," Facinelli exclusively told PopEater."

"Facinelli says he is excited to start working on 'New Moon,' which is expected to start shooting in March. Even though he hasn't seen the final script, there is one scene he's excited about. "There is a scene where Dr. Cullen stitches up Bella's hand, and there is a really nice conversation... I think it's important to the book," he said."

I can't wait to see the hand-stitching scene too! Read the rest of the interview here.

  1. They should be careful casting Dakota Fanning for New Moon, she might steal the show

  2. I think Dakota Fanning will be great for the roll of Jane, and I agree she might steal the show. Though thats a good thing to, she would out shine Kriten Stewart as well...the charactor Bella realy was a disappointment to me but hey, she may be better in the other movies, and I'm hoping so as well. Also I want to say the other actors and actresses Carlisle, Emse, Alice, Jasper, Rosalie, Emmett, Edward and Jacob were all GREAT! all well as for the rest were....specially Bella's dad.
Can't wait until New Moon comes out!

  3. although i enjoyed the film a was disapointed at how much from the book was missed things that may make the future films even less like there films as i belive alot of key points to the story was missed.
i always thought the books were about the sexual tension between edward and bella but this seems to have been lost in the film
still cant wait for new moon though
