If you really enjoy my blog posts, you can read them AGAIN word-for-word, layout-by-layout, on this other Blog

If you like my blog, and want to read my postings twice, you can head over to [Anonymous Twilight Fansite], which has taken several of my blog postings - as well as those of others - and copied them verbatim without crediting others' work.

I have deliberated whether or not to bother saying anything, but I feel like I should, because this is sucking the fun out of blogging for me.

To be perfectly clear, I own NOTHING that I post, except for my silly Photoshop drawings and personal musings & opinions. Basically, everything that I blog about is public information that I have *meticulously* taken the time to dig up, just because I enjoy doing so. To the best of my ability, I credit my sources by providing hotlinks to the original source of information and images. However, while the information I offer here is public, the creative execution that I devote my time to isn't.

Just today, this site has directly lifted postings from hisgoldeneyes.com, as well as several from my blog, including my Robert Pattinson Rocking a Medieval Mullet and my Kristen Stewart GAP Ad posting. You can compare here by looking at a couple of my posts that showed up on [Anonymous Twilight Fansite]'s News Blog today, word for word:
[Anonymous Twilight Fansite] -- I'm flattered that you enjoy my blog posts enough to include them on your site, but I would really appreciate it if you could not diminish others' efforts by copying others' posts without crediting their work.

P.S. I left a comment for you once asking for you to consider crediting others' work, but it was just deleted...

P.P.S. Originally, I included the name of the [Anonymous Twilight Fansite] in this post, but after some consideration, I took it out. However, if you are curious enough to figure out which blog I'm referring to, you can check out the sites listed at Top Twilight Blogs and take a guess while discovering some other cool blogs...

  1. hey TwiCrack Addict, i enjoy your blog very much. i visit almost all the twilight related blogs everyday and i kinda mix all the new posts about them into one blog , just to entertain my close frends and others who enjoy twilight as much as we do. And i copied some posts from your blog and i just felt i have to inform you. And just to say, it's really hard for me to find other channels, ways to get information about twilight and your blog is being updated everyday and i really like it. So thanks, and hope you won't get angry at me :)

  2. Hi SARA H! Aww...thank you for your kind words! I'm so happy you enjoy reading my blog, as I have fun putting it together. I too visit all the blogs and when I find something interesting, I'll write about it for sure! :)

I guess I feel uncomfortable about this specific situation, only b/c [Anonymous Twilight Fansite] sometimes doesn't even bother to edit out some of my personal opinions & commentary, thus publishing them as their own -- whether that was their intention or just an oversight on their part. Either way, it just feels funny, you know?

    Thanks for listening! :)

  3. Hello TwiCrack Addict,

I must say that's really unfair about people taking your work and crediting it as there own! I'm in the same situation as Sara H, I check out your blog daily (and some times more) becasue its always up to date and it has so many great things! I also do my own little twilight blog that's really just for my freinds who are also obsessed with twilight. And to give them something to read each day I like to sift through all the twilight blogs and web pages to find the best news and most of it comes from your site :D I also normaly do my own research about a certain topic or news article and then post it, but I would have no idea about it until you posted it. So I would just like to say thank you so much! And I will make sure to credit you more if that's ok that I use it in the first place.

  4. you know they say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery....therefor, YOU ROCK!! Feel awesome that you're great enough for others to imitate, albeit in bad taste and worse form. You're like....the real Coach bag next to the Wal-Mart knock-off. Just smile benignly down from your perch and know that you're the best. ;~)

  5. Hey girl...we might be thinking of the same site, because I have had the EXACT same thing happen to at least 6 times. It bugs SOOOO bad...but I didn't say anything (you are braver than I). I know how you feel.
