CNNMoney is reporting that the outlook is expected to worsen for U.S. retailers following a bleak Christmas shopping season. Basically the whole report is a laundry list of gloom & doom, with the exception of a handful of retailers, including Hot Topic. Why on earth might you care, you ask? Well, this is why:Teen retailer Hot Topic Inc. (HOTT) also is expected to be a winner, benefiting from demand for vampire-themed merchandise tied to the movie " Twilight."
